Jeremy Corbyn Biggest Global Threat to Jews, Simon Wiesenthal Center Says

Ed.'s note: We certainly have our work cut out for us trying to understand what is happening in the UK because it is going to have a direct impact on Americans. What should be considered most important in this material is the role of a central bank in the affairs of both the UK and the US. In both countries the central bank is not under the control of their respective governments. This is not true for Russia where in that country the central bank is under the control of the Russian government. UK politicians will not look at the source of their problems being the BoE related to their cities, the deteriorating food chain and rapidly deteriorating health of British citizens. The fact that England is not allowed to issue its own money but must borrow it from the Bank of England is the underlying problem. Interest payments on public debt are an exponentially growing cancer that impoverishes nations reeking hell on people. This applies to the UK and to any country that has a private central bank loaning money to the government at interest. Look what is happening in Japan with Japan's central bank preparing to prop up Japan's economy with 26 trillion yen ($239 billion) seemingly to forestall the inevitable. For a small population of roughly 126 million Japanese that $239 billion is massive while simultaneous bank bailouts are reaching massive proportions.

It's not the first time Corbyn has been an entrant on the annual list –the Center listed Labour anti-Semitism under Corbyn was listed second in 2016, behind the US abstention on a UN vote on West Bank settlements. In 2017, Labour anti-Semitism placed 10th and in Corbyn fourth.

The Simon Wiesenthal Center has Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn as its top anti-Semitic person or event for 2019, and warned Britain would become a "pariah" if it elects the him as Prime Minister 12th December.

Speaking to the Daily Mail, Centre chief Rabbi Marvin Hier – whose organisation is named after a famed Nazi Hunter - said "no one" had done more to "mainstream anti-Semitism into the political and social life of a democracy" than Corbyn.
"If Jeremy Corbyn wins, he will make Britain a pariah on the world stage. To have a person seeking the highest office who ignored anti-Semitism for years, who did everything in his power to encourage it is shocking. We don't want to get it wrong again. We cannot sit back and watch this happen again," he despaired.

Corbyn's placement this year puts him ahead of John Earnest, a gunman accused of opening fire on a California synagogue in April, killing one. The list is typically published in late December or early January, so the earlier release this year suggests it may have been timed to coincide with the upcoming UK vote.

In a statement, Labour branded the ranking "ridiculous and grossly offensive".
"Putting Jeremy Corbyn at the head of a list containing neo-Nazi synagogue shooters is a transparent political attack and has nothing to do with tackling antisemitism," a spokesperson said.
On 5th December, a dossier compiled by the Jewish Labour Movement accused Corbyn of personally engaging in anti-Semitism in nine separate cases, as part of a 53-page report filed to a body tasked with probing anti-Semitism within Labour. Thousands of cases of alleged hate speech against Jews have been recorded within the party since Corbyn's election in 2015.

Corbyn has repeatedly insisted he isn't anti-Semitic and his party has dealt with the problem robustly – and his denials have been supported by certain Jewish organisations. For instance, in November Britain's Chief Rabbi Ephraim Mirvis warned voters of the "new poison" he alleged had gripped the Labour party, expressing fear for the future of Jews in the UK should Corbyn become prime minister.

Corbyn, Uriel Da Costa and the Meaning of 'Real Apology'

DECEMBER 08, 2019 | BY GILAD ATZMON

Once every day, a Labour official offers a groveling apology to the Jewish community, but for some peculiar reason its leaders seem unforgiving. They don't take Corbyn's expressions of remorse seriously. Today's attempt to appease his party's detractors was made by Shadow Chancellor John McDonnell on Andrew Marr's show, it was: "we've done everything, I think, we can possibly do. We've apologised to the Jewish community."

So far, nothing seems to have worked. If the Labour party is to be forgiven by the ‘Jewish community,’ it must perform an authentic act of total humiliation and the sooner it occurs, the better, as electionday is just a few days away.

Therefore, I suggest that Corbyn, his shadow chancellor and any other person who contemplates becoming involved in British politics learn some basic Jewish history and in particular the horrendous and tragic story of Jewish philosopher Uriel Da Costa.

Uriel Da Costa, (born in 1585-1590), was a Jewish rationalist who became a symbol among Jews and others of one martyred by the intolerance of rabbinical zeal.

Da Costa was the scion of an aristocratic family of Marranos (Spanish and Portuguese Jews forcibly converted to Roman Catholicism). Initially, he studied canon law and became the treasurer of a collegiate church. Da Costa questioned the salvation depicted by the Roman Catholic church. In his search for authentic meaning and spirit, he turned to the Old Testament. He then converted to Judaism and convinced his close family to adopt his new/old religion. At the age of 22, Da Costa fled with his family from Porto, Portugal to Amsterdam.

Da Costa soon found that the form of Judaism that prevailed in Amsterdam had little to do with the Bible or with rational or analytical thinking and had much to do with an elaborate structure based on rabbinic legislation (Talmud). Being philosophically inclined, he formulated 11 theses (1616) attacking Rabbinic Judaism as non-biblical, for which he was excommunicated by the Rabbinical institutions.

Uriel Da Costa

Da Costa next composed a larger work condemning rabbinic Judaism and denying the immortality of the soul (1623–24). In a path that may remind some of life in contemporary Orwellian Britain, the Amsterdam magistracy arrested Da Costa, fined him and deprived him of his books.

In 1640, after years of ostracism which he could hardly bear, Da Costa made a public recantation. In response, the community's leaders choreographed an exceptionally cruel and humiliating rite. As described by the Israeli Museum of the Jewish People: "In a ceremony in the Great Synagogue of Amsterdam, da Costa was first forced to confess his sins, then endure 39 lashes, and finally to lie on the (synagogue) threshold and let the entire crowd step over his body."

Da Costa never recovered from the barbarian ritual. A few months later he shot himself in the head in the middle of the street.

If Corbyn, his shadow cabinet or anyone else within the Labour party is interested in forgiveness, the road is open for them to undergo Urial Da Costa's experience.

However, some major categorical differences between Da Costa and Labour politicians must be examined before such a development matures into a televised spectacle. While Da Costa was an exquisite free thinker who served as an inspiration to the great Baruch Spinoza (who was subjected to similar Rabbinical malevolence just a few years later), Labour's leadership isn't exactly an intellectual collective. Their contribution to authentic thinking and freedom of thought is currently in the red. Unlike the sensitive Da Costa who couldn't bear the humiliation and ended his life under tragic circumstances, Corbyn and the Labour elite are more than likely to survive such a humiliating scenario, they may even enjoy it. Like most British politicians, they long ago lost contact with the concepts of dignity and pride.

CORBYN'S ELECTION MANIFESTO BINS THIRTY YEARS OF NEOLIBERAL POLICIES

Jeremy Corbyn launches most radical Labour manifesto in decades 'Investment blitz' funded by wealthy and tax on energy firms

Thursday, 21 Nov 2019

Jeremy Corbyn has launched the most radical Labour manifesto in decades, promising an “investment blitz” that would leave no corner of the UK untouched and welcoming the hostility of billionaires, big business and dodgy landlords.

Speaking at an upbeat event at Birmingham City University, where students and activists leaned over balconies adorned with banners setting out Labour's policies, Corbyn urged the public to vote for "hope" at the general election in three weeks’ time.

At the centre of the manifesto, called It's Time for Real Change, is a large increase in public investment, funded by taxes on corporations and top earners.

The Labour leader called it "a manifesto full of popular policies that the political establishment has blocked for a generation", and it appeared significantly more radical than the party's 2017 programme.

Corbyn insisted that, as Labour has promised in 2017, there would be no tax rises for 95% of earners, with only those on incomes of more than £80,000 being affected.

“You can have this plan for real change, because you don’t need money to buy it: you just need a vote," he said.

A Labour government would also give public sector workers a 5% pay rise next year, helping to offset the impact of the 1% pay cap that has been in place for several years, the manifesto says.

One key revenue-raiser is an £11bn windfall tax on oil and gas companies which would create a "just transition fund" to help shift the UK towards a green economy without causing mass job losses.

The one-off tax would be calculated according to an assessment of each firm's past contribution to the climate crisis, Labour said, and could be paid over a number of years.

The total is 10 times the £1.1bn the Treasury expects to raise from the oil and gas sector this year.
