Mr. Kennedy,
My name is Field McConnell and I am a 62 year old Private Intelligence Agent in the US. I work with a global network of passionate researchers. One discovery we have made is of significance to the Joe Kennedy Sr. family.
My Joe Jr. died on 12 August, 1944, it was not an accident. He was flying a BQ8 which was a modified USAF B24 Liberator and the modification was that it could be flown without pilots once at altitude and on course. On the morning he died, an RAF Mosquito was flying in 'chase position' with a [bell and howell] camera to film the successful bailout of Joe Jr. and his copilot. The RAF Mosquito was being flown by Elliott Roosevelt, a USAF colonel and son of FDR. There was a 'code word' transmitted that signalled that Joe Jr. and his CP were about to bail out. At this point Roosevelt detonated the Torpex explosives and Joe Jr. died.
