Editor's note: Gita Gopinath (spawned out of Harvard) is the IMF's First Deputy Managing Director and an economist, therefore, nobody knows what the hell she is rambling on about. The roughly 18 million impoverished people in Argentina don't know what the hell Gopinath is talking about either. In fact, they don't want to know what Gopinath is trying to convey because those 18 million impoverished Argentinians want to join the BRICS nations. Would anyone else like to see the IMF's work in Argentina? Signing up for IMF loans is slavery (see The IMF's punitive loan system makes struggling countries poorer. It must end). The country of Argentina will get pillaged to pay off the loans with no real economy being built that would lift 18 million Argentinians out of poverty. Gopinath says she wants to "build capacity and manage debt." It is the same with the IMF in Africa: Plunder. It is hard to say but this woman pulls in a serious 6 figure salary at the IMF with a net worth around $3 million.
