Lizann Prosser, former Deloitte Director, named new President of Crown Agents USA, Inc.

Crown Agents USA, Inc. (CA-USA) is pleased to announce that Lizann Prosser, former senior manager of Deloitte's Health and Social Protection Practice, has been chosen as president of Crown Agents USA. She assumed her new post in April 2010 becoming the CA-USA president and chief executive officer.
Ms. Prosser is a strong and strategic international leader with 30 years of implementation experience. Her clients have included USAID, the World Bank, DFID and the EU. She has worked in the majority of the former Soviet Republics and most recently assessed the potential for public-private partnerships in Kosovo.
Following careers in environmental engineering and investment banking, Ms. Prosser has spent the past 15 years managing a variety of large international development projects focused on health systems strengthening, health economics and strategy development. Most recently she worked in Deloitte's Health and Protection Services practice.
Crown Agents' executive director for corporate performance, Garry Hopcroft, stated that "Lizann Prosser is an ideal leader for Crown Agents USA during this growth period. I am confident that she will continue to maintain Crown Agents' traditions of excellence while expanding our portfolio of international activities. We feel very fortunate that Lizann has agreed to join us at Crown Agents USA."
Ms. Prosser was the project director for the USAID-funded Commercial Market Strategies and PROFIT projects, both of which increased the private sector delivery of health services through the implementation of a variety of approaches, including direct investment, public-private partnerships, micro-lending and social marketing.
Ms. Prosser holds an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a MSPH from the University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill. She serves on numerous boards, including several affiliated with Johns Hopkins University, including the Hospital's Geriatric Advisory Group, the Alumni Advisory Council, and the Society of Engineering Alumni.
