Editor's note: The reason why Rihards Kols condemns Russia is because Kols is an international affairs analyst at the Latvian British Chamber of Commerce and an intern at the Royal Institute of International Affairs "Chatham House" in the Russia and Eurasia Programme. Kols is also a member of the European Leadership Network and is a Millennium Fellow at Atlantic Council. NATO stands behind the Atlantic Council, an American wonk tank that has worked to bring North America in particularly the US and Europe (NATO allies) closer together. The Atlantic Council is extremely anti-Russian in its official position and does not want any relations to take place between Russia and Germany. The current head of the Atlantic Council with 197 employees collecting wonk tank (these wonk tanks are propaganda mills) salaries is a Goldman Sachs guy (the power of the network). Kols also studied at the University of Westminster at the Diplomatic Academy of London. Russia today is not the Soviet Union Kols suggests it is.
