Carter is giving a stark warning while the UK's PM Starmer wants to drop 30,000 British "peacekeepers" into Ukraine. Isn't that sort of like giving Russia a MacKinder threat? Without the British it would be impossible for Israel to sustain its continued bombardment of Gaza as Israel threatens Palestinians with "utter destruction and devastation." One gets the distinct feeling Israel's destruction of Gaza is sort of like a warning to the world. Criticize or threaten Israel and face a Gaza-like annihilation.
