Editor's note: The problem here is Thomas Jefferson didn't think in terms of "conservatism." Now it's reframed as "originalism" (another "ism" ideology). The other aspect is America didn't fight a "civil war" to give freedom to Blacks. That is a historical fallacy. It was a British commercial war to destroy the south. Thomas Jefferson was not a conservative by any meaningful historical standard; his ideas were radical for their time, aimed at dismantling entrenched power, rejecting monarchy and inherited privilege, and asserting individual liberty over tradition going back to his study and understanding of Greek city states. To label Jefferson "conservative" is to misunderstand both the revolutionary nature of his philosophy and the very meaning of conservatism itself. Here is something else to consider. Despite Thomas Paine's central role in "igniting the American Revolution and shaping the spirit that made the Constitution possible," there is no public record of John Malcolm ever articulating Paine's radical meaning or grappling with how Common Sense and The Rights of Man informed the Constitution's break from inherited power of the British and authority.

Mike Pence is a British asset who...
Editor's note: ...was speaking at the British Chatham House last November being reported as delivering a "powerful speech." Mike Pence (a Tory, or a Loyalist) didn't write his "powerful speech." It was likely written by British antagonists of America who are going to be mounting an assault on President Trump in the 2026 mid-term elections. The Loyalist Mike Pence who is a British asset is leading this assault with his newly formed wonk tank Advancing American Freedom (AAF) with some members of the Heritage Foundation wonk tank defecting over to AAF. It's not about "American freedom," so don't get fooled by the slick advertising. It is about an imperial British-controlled globalist agenda to sabotage America by creating a conservative fracture through the British asset Pence. These "Loyalists" who defected over to Tory Pence's AAF wonk tank include "Loyalists" John Malcolm, Kevin Dayaratna, and Richard Stern, along with a broader group of legal, economic, and data-policy staff. This defection signals a significant ideological and institutional split within the conservative movement intended to fracture MAGA. These "Loyalists" likely defected to Pence's AAF after internal ideological disputes at the Heritage Foundation over its response to Tucker Carlson's interview with Nick Fuentes, which they viewed as a "failure to clearly repudiate extremist rhetoric and a departure from traditional conservative standards." You don't have to be a conservative or a liberal to be an American so don't let these wonk tanks ideologically vector you.
