The radical left, (the former slave owners of the old southern states plantations are the same ones that keep the blacks in poverty in the new 50 state plantation), always blame the whites for the slave trade but have you ever wondered who started the slave trade? How about a little history lesson.
The slave trade actually started in 1492. What is not well known and because it has been sent down the memory hole is that queen Isabella did not fund Columbus, it was Luis Santiago...Hmm that sure sounds like a Spanish name doesn't it?
He gave Columbus 17000 duckets (from the word 'ducats' - various gold coins back then) to finance the voyage that began on august 3rd 1492.
Columbus was accompanied by 5 Maranos; Jews that had supposedly forsworn their religion to become Christians but as always they lied to stay in Spain because the Jews were all expelled from Spain on August 2nd 1492 one day before Columbus' voyage and were also expelled from Portugal in 1497.
Luis de Torres an interpreter, Marco, the surgeon, Bemal the physician, Alonzo de la Calle, and Gabriel Sanchez, abetted by the other four jews, convinced Columbus after arriving in the new world to capture 500 'east Indians' and bring them back to Seville Spain to sell them. Many Jews followed and later settled in New Port Rhode island where the first Synagog was erected in the new world. And was referred to then as The Jewish Newport World Center of Slave Commerce.
