The Isra-Bluff

By Josh G | May 21, 2021

I'm back for a few brief comments on the recent spat between Hamas and Israel. The picture above allegedly shows rockets fired from Gaza on the right and the Iron Dome anti-missile system on the left. I won't bother to pick apart some oddities in the picture, since I can show you that the Iron Dome is a bluff, or to be more precise, an Isra-bluff. An Israeli comedy troupe coined the term "Isra-bluff" decades ago and it is frequently used by Israelis to describe situations where the Israeli government "tries to pull a fast one over on everybody."

The Iron Dome is a quintessential Isra-bluff. It's basically just a big fireworks show. At $50,000 per missile and $50 million per launcher, it's another fancy but useless doodad that justifies the ongoing pilfering of the treasury. Doubts about the effectiveness of the system were raised from the beginning, with reports issued in 2013 and 2014 not by a bunch of conspiracy theorists, but by the likes of Theodore Postol, a professor Emeritus in Science, Technology, and International Security at MIT, Mordechai Shefer who was awarded the prestigious Israel Defense Prize in 1978, and Richard Lloyd a former missile designer at Raytheon.

I'm not going to delve into the ins-and-outs of their explanations about why it's a bluff. You can read more here and here about problems with the Iron Dome. Suffice it to say that the army greatly exaggerates the number of rockets launched by Hamas as well as the accuracy and effectiveness of the missiles as well. Every (or almost every) time it detonates in the sky is just self-destruction, and even if it did "hit" an incoming missile it would not be able to knock it down. The Israeli army has been asked to supply evidence that the rockets work in the form of infrared imaging of actual rockets being intercepted, but have failed to supply any. "Trust us! Would we lie to you?" is their response.

Mordechai (Moti) Shefer has been very vocal about the lies and deceptions of the latest kerfuffle on his Fakebook page. It should be noted that he has been trying to develop an anti missile system he says would actually be effective, but has been stymied at every turn. Even though he himself is probably bluffing, this admission is very telling, because one would think that the defense industry would be interested in turning the best ideas into the most effective weapons. Instead, as this interview with him shows us, the last thing they want is an effective anti-missile system. All anti-missile systems, including Reagan's unbelievably expensive SDI scam that never materialized, are just ways for these companies and their investors to milk the treasury. If they were really effective, then it would sort of neutralize the fear of the enemy, wouldn't it? Can't have that.

But of course the biggest bluff of the past few weeks is Hamas as the stubborn enemy of Israel. It is openly admitted that the Mossad was instrumental in creating Hamas, as in this article from The Intercept:
But did you also know that Hamas — which is an Arabic acronym for "Islamic Resistance Movement" — would probably not exist today were it not for the Jewish state? That the Israelis helped turn a bunch of fringe Palestinian Islamists in the late 1970s into one of the world's most notorious militant groups? That Hamas is blowback?

This isn't a conspiracy theory. Listen to former Israeli officials such as Brig. Gen. Yitzhak Segev, who was the Israeli military governor in Gaza in the early 1980s. Segev later told a New York Times reporter that he had helped finance the Palestinian Islamist movement as a "counterweight" to the secularists and leftists of the Palestine Liberation Organization and the Fatah party, led by Yasser Arafat (who himself referred to Hamas as "a creature of Israel.")

The Israeli government gave me a budget," the retired brigadier general confessed, "and the military government gives to the mosques."

"Hamas, to my great regret, is Israel's creation," Avner Cohen, a former Israeli religious affairs official who worked in Gaza for more than two decades, told the Wall Street Journal in 2009.
Of course, as with all public admissions about Western Intelligence creating monsters that turned around and attacked them—like with their active support of the likes of Saddam Hussein, Osama bin Laden, the Iranian Pahlavi Shahs, or Mao Zedong—these accounts always misdirect into "blowback." These intelligence agencies must not be very intelligent if they keep making the same mistake over and over. "Oops! Egg on our face. Sorry, folks. Won't happen again." But we know better. None of these former intelligence assets ever went rogue. They were always acting under orders.

And who is credited as the founder of Hamas? That would be Sheikh Ahmed Yassin. Let's see . . . anything suspicious about this character?
Nope, nothing to see here folks. Move on.

According to Wikipedia, "Yassin was killed in an Israeli attack on 22 March 2004… Yassin always used the same direction every morning to go to the same mosque in the Sabra district that is 100 m (330 ft) from his home." Of course they just added that detail so they could sneak in a 33. And of course 3/22 you should immediately recognize as a spook date associated with Yale's Skull and Bones.

Sheikh Hassan Yousef is credited as co-founder of Hamas. Only thing is that his eldest son, Mossad oops I mean Mossab, was apparently an Israeli spy and even wrote a book about it, Son of Hamas. And just a couple of years ago another son of his abandoned Hamas and went on to expose the lifestyles of the rich and famous that its leadership led. I guess their dad could have used some parenting lessons or better indoctrination methods. Or maybe…just maybe…he works for Israel, too? Nah, couldn't be.

A couple of years ago I probably would have read through Son of Hamas to point out the absurdities and lies. But now it just seems like overkill. I invite you to fill in the blanks.

And by the way, the rockets from Hamas don't seem to have any explosives in them, at least ones that have landed and been found. And it was awfully gentlemanly of Hamas to notify Israelis living in Tel Aviv the approximate time they were going to be firing missiles at them (yes, it's true).

Let me be clear, though, the bluff is not apparent to the vast majority of the population, which believes in the Iron Dome but knows it isn't perfect so is also scared of the incoming missiles as they huddle in bomb shelters.

Another big bluff of this whole charade has been the destruction of several large buildings in Gaza. Videos show very clear signs of planned demolition.

Here for example is a video of the collapse of the Al-Jalaa Tower that housed press offices such as Al Jazeera and the AP, and allegedly some Hamas intelligence offices.

Whatever technology the Israelis have for building expensive stuff to kill people and blow stuff up it likely came out of the US:

One thing needs to be stated about Wikipedia since many researchers refer to this "official" source. When Wikipedia first went online the plan all along was to "master the discourse."
