Editor's note: There are entities in the US who want to defund and altogether disband police. After the police in the US have been defunded, imagine for a moment a drug gang moves into let's say the worst areas of Chicago or Los Angeles that are as lethal as this drug gang in Brazil including murder, kidnapping, train robberies, violence, drug running with military weapons at their disposal? The Brazilian police allegedly killed 24 gang members with one police fatality. The police in Brazil just killed 24 hardened criminal gang members. You don't see anyone in Brazil forcing police to have body-cams released, defund the police movements and trying to ban weapons all together. The Brazilians understand that "freedom" is messy and comes with a price.
