Ann Diamond was one of those citizens.
Ann Diamond was born in Montreal where she also graduated in History and Creative Writing at Concordia University. She studied fiction with Raymond Carver in the MFA program at Goddard College in Vermont, and later taught creative writing at Concordia University and Thompson Rivers University in Kamloops, British Columbia.
