Editor's note: As China overtakes the US economy the US is going to continue to shrink in world status with its now practically non-existent manufacturing base, the US will become dangerously belligerent. We are likely going to see as many have pointed out, currency wars lead to a trade war and this will then lead to a hot war. It seems as though Biden's (the "geriatric president") handlers want a war with Russia. Instead of the US being out there competing against China and Russia, its central bank continues to generate an unlimited amount of credit that can only lead to the destruction (bankers hoarding credit for themselves) of the US economy. What's next Germany and the US? Russia recalling its ambassador to the US is a very serious diplomatic move as Putin challenges geriatric Biden to a debate. If people haven't figured it out yet, it was intentional for a geriatric to be staged in the White House to mock America.

Nord Stream 2: US warns companies to 'immediately abandon work'

The US State Department called for companies to cease activity on the controversial pipeline or face sanctions. The US has slammed the project as a Russian plan to "divide Europe and weaken European energy security." 

The US warned companies laying pipe in the Baltic Sea that they should stop work or face sanctions 

US Secretary of State Antony Blinken on Thursday called on companies involved in the construction of the Russian-German Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline to "immediately abandon work" or potentially face harsh sanctions.

In a statement, the State Department said it is monitoring and assessing information about companies doing work on the project.

"Any entity involved in the Nord Stream 2 pipeline risks US sanctions and should immediately abandon work on the pipeline," the statement reads.

Blinken also said the Biden administration is intent on upholding sanctions legislation passed by Congress in 2019 and expanded with broad bipartisan support in 2020.

The Biden administration has made clear the Nord Stream 2 is a bad deal. We continue to monitor activity and warn any entity involved in the Nord Stream 2 pipeline will risk sanctions. We are committed to complying with the Congressional legislation in this regard.

The statement gives context to the administration's decision, noting that, "multiple US administrations have made clear, this pipeline is a Russian geopolitical project intended to divide Europe and weaken European energy security."
