"A brief notice issued by a German gas station stating that it will stop selling the tabloid Bild after its sensationalist coverage of the Germanwings crash, is gaining colossal resonance. Increasing numbers of retailers are removing it from their stands.
What started with a Facebook entry by ARAL station in the town of Bendorf, Rhineland-Palatinate, is now going viral with the original post getting more that 100k 'likes' in less than a week.
The message from the petrol station's manager was clear when he set out his reasons for informing his customers that Bild would no longer be available at the pumps. He believed the newspaper's reporting was too sensationalist and quick at jumping to conclusions, disregarding respect for the victims’ families as it posted images from the crash site.
"Dear customers, there is no Bild-Zeitung today! We do not support this smear campaign!" the message read referring to the publication's coverage of Germanwings flight 9525 crash in Alps on March 24.
After receiving several comments such as "with the fall of Germanwings, journalism in Germany has crashed," the boycott campaign spread like a wildfire to other retailers in Germany.
A newspaper retailer in Rutesheim, a German town located in Baden-Württemberg, has followed suit and has taken Bild off of its shelves. That post received more than 50k 'Likes'.
Taxi and gas stations in Papenburg and Leer were also quick to sign up to participate in the boycott. As the campaign spread, activists even created a map of 'Bild free' retailers across Germany.
Another webpage called for a complete boycott of all products by Axel Springer AG which controls Bild. Activists accuse Bild of often erroneous and biased reporting and publishing "untrue and sloppily researched" articles.

Germanwings Flight 9525 en route from Barcelona–El Prat Airport to Düsseldorf, Germany, crashed on 24 March some 100 kilometers northwest of Nice, in the French Alps. All 144 passengers and six crew members were killed. McConnell notes that The Harmsworth and Springer families which own the Daily Mail and Bild-Zeitung tabloids have shared Serco's data feeds from its Black Hand patent-pool killing fields since Princess Stephanie von Hohenlohe shared her sexual honeypot favors with Axel Springer and the first Lord Rothermere (the current Daily Mail's chairman’s great grandfather).

McConnell notes that Uchtdorf must be skilled in the art of the autopilot killing field given that in 1975 he headed Lufthansa's Arizona Training School where Lubitz did his training; in 1980 he was head chief pilot of Lufthansa's cockpit crews where Lubitz became depressed and in 1982 he was senior vice president of Lufthansa's flight operations before he left the company in 1996 after Lufthansa tried to strip patented autopilot-killing-field devices from its aircraft.
McConnell is now calling for a global boycott of the Bild-Zeitung and the Daily Mail (B&M) tabloids for their apparent use of Serco's Black Hand Base One navigators to conceal the remote activation of patented autopilot-killing-field devices in the murder of Andreas Lubitz, whom they have libelled as "the killer pilot" or "der amok-pilot" of Germanwings Flight 9525.

Der "Flight Data Recorder" (FDR) zeichnet quasi jeden Handgriff der Piloten auf. Das Gerät zeichnet auf allen Flügen relevante Daten wie Kurs, Geschwindigkeit, Flughöhe oder Neigungswinkel der Maschine auf. Der FDR erhält von der Elektronik des Jets auch Meldungen über das Ein- und Abschalten einzelner Teilsysteme wie dem Autopilot. Das Gerät zeichnet über 500 Parameter auf.
Durch das Speichern von GPS-Daten gibt es zudem Auskunft über den genauen Ort eines Unglücks – auch wenn die Trümmer später weit verstreut sind. Der Flugdatenschreiber kann 25 Stunden lang aufzeichnen, auch Informationen des vorletzten Flugs sind darum meist noch erhalten. Der Chip mit den Daten steckt in einem gepanzerten Zylinder von der Größe einer Konservendose. Dessen Inhalt – also der Zylinder mit den wertvollen Daten – ist so konzipiert, dass er enormen Druck-Belastungen standhält. Wie ist ein Flugdatenschreiber aufgebaut?
Es sind etwa 4,5 Kilo schwere Metallkonstruktionen mit den Abmessungen eines kleineren Schuhkartons. Die eigentliche Speichereinheit befindet sich unter einer von außen gut sichtbaren zylinder- oder kuppelförmigen separaten Schutzhülle auf der Grundplatte. Bestückt ist sie heute mit elektronischen SSD-Speicherkarten, wie sie auch in Notebooks eingesetzt werden. Diese haben keine beweglichen Teile und sind so weniger anfällig.
Die Außenhülle der Speichereinheit besteht aus einer dicken Metallschicht aus Stahl, Titan oder Aluminium. Darunter folgen eine hochtemperaturfeste Isolierung sowie vielfach noch eine zweite metallene innere Hülle direkt um die Speicherkarten. Wie stabil ist ein Flugdatenschreiber?

Prior to the meeting, Earnest spoke about the agenda.
"I know the president also is looking forward to the opportunity that he'll have to meet with some leaders in the LDS church who are in town for the conference there, so I know the president's looking forward to that opportunity," Earnest said in an interview with FOX 13.
"Obviously, we've got Christians all around the world who are celebrating Easter this weekend, and so it'll be a good time for him to spend a little time with the LDS leadership as well."
The topics under discussion reportedly included immigration and the LDS Church's long-history of humanitarian aid. According to LDS Church spokesman Eric Hawkins, President Obama met with "President Henry B. Eyring, President Dieter F. Uchtdorf, Elder L. Tom Perry and Elder D. Todd Christofferson."
Hawkins stated that LDS Church President Thomas Monson did not attend, as he is saving his strength for the LDS Church's semi-annual General Conference, which begins this weekend.
Hawkins stated: "President Monson remembers fondly his visit to the White House to present President Obama with his personal family history in 2009. Because of the need to preserve his strength for this weekend's General Conference, it was felt that the logistics of meeting away from Church offices, with the walking and the waiting periods associated with a presidential visit, would regrettably not be conducive to President Monson's participation."
This was not Obama's first meeting with LDS leaders. Dieter F. Uchtdorf, Second Counselor of the First Presidency of the LDS Church, was among the religious leaders from various denominations who spent time with Obama in the Oval Office in April 2014 to give their input on immigration reform.
First Lady Michelle Obama has also met with LDS church leaders. Michelle Obama visited the LDS church’s headquarters in February 2008 on behalf of her husband, who was campaigning for his first presidential bid at the time.
