Report: Syria's Minorities Face Uncertain Future due to Western-Backed Salafist Invasion
This report sheds a light on a human tragedy that most media around the world have offered little coverage of or have purposely chosen to ignore. It is the issue of Syria's religious minorities and non-Wahhabi moderate Sunnis who are increasingly facing a threat that invaded their country since 2011, Saudi Arabia's and Qatar's Wahhabism [reports of foreign mercenaries being radicalized in Saudi Arabia and Libya by Islamic Muftis indoctrinating Jihadis before they enter Syria] (Salafism). These aforementioned groups of Syrians form a clear majority in Syria versus the extremist Salafis.
Wahhabism is an extremely bigoted and intolerant ideology that is considered as an ultra-orthodox branch of Sunni Islam. It not only advocates the hatred of non-Wahhabis, but it also incites, according to different interpretations, the killing of these 'nonbelieving' or 'infidel' groups. It also seeks to establish an oppressive Sharia-based Islamic Emirate (State) that discriminates among its citizens in a sectarian manner and adopts barbaric Stone Age punishments for non-Islamic crimes, crimes such as a woman driving a car or a couple displaying basic forms of affection in public.
This hate-filled doctrine is taught at a young age to children in some countries such as Saudi Arabia. Wahhabism is currently being exported to many countries thanks to the petrodollars of the Gulf's oppressive and dictatorial monarchies.
Since 2011, members of the religious minorities in Syria such as Christians, Druze, Alawites, and Shias have received death threats, have been kidnapped, and have been killed especially by beheading in hundreds of cases. Hundreds of thousands were forced to flee their homes, especially in Homs and Aleppo. [the two men in this GRAPHIC video were Alawites butchered by these Wahhabi foreign terrorists]
Western nations' deliberate portrayal of these Salafi insurgents as "freedom fighters" against an "oppressive dictator" will probably go down in history as one of the biggest sins of the 21st century. The potential eradication of Christianity from Syria for the first time in its 2,000-year history falls squarely on the hands of not only the Gulf countries who are directly responsible for funding and supporting these terrorists but also the West, which has decided to side with al-Qaeda Jihadis against the defenseless minorities.
