Editor's note: In this essay, Christianity is presented as a Jewish invention. It was designed to convince Christians that their own sufferings will save the world from "sin," so that they voluntarily act like harmless submissive animals who accept pain and hardship in this life as a form of redemption. They are then taught after being born into their respective Abrahamic cults, that " Jews are the chosen" (including Cervantes who some speculate was Jewish or a Jesuit) who understood this mechanism and rejected it. Cervantes conveyed the idea through the story of Don Quixote, portraying the knight as a ridiculous, suffering Christian figure (a comic sequel to the fabricated story about Christ and the cross) while the clever Jewish perspective remains the one that "knows better." Sancho Panza serves as the pragmatic counterpoint to Quixote's self-sacrificing madness. The Edomite Jews (if you accept the legitimacy of the Hebrew bible were a type of Hebrew pagans) rejected this teleological (understanding something in terms of process rather than cause or mechanism) problem but American Christians just don't get it like US Senator Ted Cruz who reminds us of Don Quixote (antisemitism is an Abrahamic blood libel). Cruz represents the tension between high principle and practical results, exactly the tension Cervantes conveyed in Don Quixote. The mentality arrived at with the semites in the Levant is blood libel genocide. The Abrahamic blood libel holds that not only are you responsible, but so are your ancestors. It is a shame Gordon Lightfoot didn't include this concept into his lyrics...
