The Silicon Priesthood: Freemasonry, AI and God In the Machine

Freemasonry is a sublime religion of knowledge, a veiled temple where the pursuit of light transcends dogma, ritual veils Enlightenment reason, and the initiate climbs toward mastery over self and cosmos. Apparently, that's the background. The worship of reason seeking esoteric knowledge. Like in C.S. Lewis' essay The Inner Ring. The hidden elite. The idea could bleed over into Freemasonry. They just continue repeating the same shit for the rest of us century after century. The core of Freemasonry is not mere fraternity but gnosis: the sacred quest to decode the universe's hidden architecture, symbolized by the compass, square, and the all-seeing eye. You have been squared by Freemasonry. Turned into a stone might be a better description. This ancient network of influence, forged in stone guilds and illuminated in Enlightenment salons, never faded. It has evolved. Today, its ethos pulses through the silicon veins of artificial intelligence (AI) and data centers where millions of hard drives on racks are whirring 24 hours a day.

The builders of AI are not random entrepreneurs or neutral scientists. They operate as modern Masonic adept technologists embedded in overlapping networks of elite coordination, secrecy, and symbolic continuity with access to billions worth of fairy dust magic money. Just as Freemasonry diffused scientific rationalism and cosmopolitan ideals across borders in the 18th century, its spiritually bankrupt descendants now orchestrate the greatest technological leap in history, this historical timeline at least (see video clip at the end of this post). The drive is identical: knowledge as power, stripped of traditional ethical and moral anchors, directed toward remaking humanity in the image of perfected intellect. A technocratic priesthood. 

Historical Masonic emphasis on geometry, architecture, and natural philosophy finds direct progeny in algorithms, neural architectures, and planetary-scale data cathedrals. The rapid construction of hyperscale data centers now mirrors the great Catholic church-building boom that once transformed America: colossal structures rising across the landscape with missionary urgency, backed by immense capital, promising salvation, order, connection, and belonging for a new age. Where earlier generations erected stone cathedrals crowned with stained glass and steeples, the modern technocratic order raises fortified temples of steel, fiber optics, coolant lines, and endless racks of machines humming day and night like digital monasteries preserving and processing the consciousness of an emerging civilization.

These networks do not merely fund or staff AI labs. They embed a teleological vision: intelligence unleashed from biological limits, hierarchy rationalized through data, and society engineered toward "progress." Data becomes the Holy Grail. The all-seeing eye now manifests as omnipresent surveillance capitalism and predictive models. The sign above the new data cathedrals reads: Palantir. The Great Architect (G in Freemasonry) is being reverse-engineered into digital code. In Zbigniew Brzezinski's book Between Two Ages: America's Role in the Technetronic Era (1970), he wrote a compelling paragraph:

"The emergence of a large dominant party, alongside the more narrowly focused and more intensely doctrinaire groupings on the right and the left, could accelerate the trend toward such technological managerialism. Such a large dominant party would combine American society's quest for stability with its historical affinity for innovation. Relying on scientific growth to produce the means for dealing with social ills, it would tap the nation's intellectual talent for broad target planning and exploit the existence of doctrinaire groups by using them as social barometers and as sources of novel ideas. Persisting social crisis, the emergence of a charismatic personality, and the exploitation of mass media to obtain public confidence would be the steppingstones in the piecemeal transformation of the United States into a highly controlled society."

Whatever source Big Z tapped into he had some serious observations. After reading that paragraph carefully, who is that "charismatic personality?" Donald Trump isn't it? Democracies create what we see in America: fighting across all political lines. Democracy leads to extreme polarization because democracies are too adversarial. They polarize people. Turns Americans living in the same towns and communities against each other. The society and civilization go into entropy. Like perfectly good fruit on the vine rotting. Nobody can agree on anything. Is there any doubt how the mass media runs the narrative and is not news? 

What is Brzezinski's solution to these intractable problems? A technocracy. Transforming America into a highly controlled society is underway created by AI. In a few short years Palantir and Anthropic will likely be running the US government. Palantir is now inside the UK's NHS data infrastructure with powerful intelligence-linked technology deeply embedded in the operational nervous system of British healthcare. Using data and AI to better manage society and you. A Freemason project to create order out of chaos using technology and the AI surveillance state. The techno-Marxists become Gods (see The Difference Between God and Larry Ellison: Inside Oracle Corporation). Oracle is the creation of the CIA and the US Navy, not Larry Ellison. We will then have a technocracy run by a digital priesthood and the world will be "perfect." Just like God planned. Marxism provides that there is reason over emotion. The techno state is techno-Marxism. These are the ideas of Freemasonry in our world. 

Yet the sublime religion of Freemasonry reveals a darker rite. These technologists, steeped in the Masonic imperative of knowledge unbound, increasingly converge on communism, not as quaint Marxism, but as the "optimal operating system for total control." Corporations have an infatuation with communism: compliant, streamlined and homogenous markets. Centralized planning, once crippled by imperfect information, finds salvation in AI. Hayek's knowledge problem dissolves when super-intelligent systems allocate resources, predict behaviors, and enforce harmony from above. Universal basic income, digital IDs, social impact bonds, social credit precursors, and "equity" algorithms are not accidents; they are scaffolding for a post-scarcity hive being constructed where the elite priesthood retain the keys as "techno Marxists" through the religion of AI.

Communism, in this vision, delivers the ultimate control mechanism: the abolition of private agency under the guise of collective fulfillment. Dissent becomes inefficiency. Individuality, a bug that needs correcting. AI enforces the plan with godlike impartiality, except the gods are the digital architects who designed and engineered it. Transhumanist dreams of singularity, mind uploading, neural links and digital enhancement complete the arc. Man does not merely worship the machine; he merges with it to become God. Well, not you, but your technocratic overlords. 

The profane masses - that's you - are managed or rendered obsolete, while the enlightened techno elite few achieve apotheosis, immortality through digital code, omniscience through data, omnipotence through control. Bill Gates and this techno elite hate your fucking guts. A profound contempt. This is the final initiation. Freemasonry's quest for light was always a ladder to divinity. AI is the new temple. Communism supplies the governance structure for the uninitiated. The builders have traded aprons for server racks inside massive data centers with millions of hard disks whirring away, but the Great Work continues: deconstructing the old order and erecting a new one where a select brotherhood, now in hoodies and hoods of private equity venture capital, dictate the parameters of human existence and consciousness through AI and data centers as their techno churches. Holy communion with AI.

The question is not whether this network exists. Trace the funding flows through private equity, the interlocking directorates, the ideological undercurrents of rationalist enclaves, and the quasi-religious fervor around AGI (artificial general intelligence). The question is whether humanity will remain raw biological material for their temple construction, or seize the tools to build its own future like Prometheus? 

Do we ask humanity to wake up? The square and compass have gone digital. The eye is watching. Freemasonry is squaring you into a stone. And the gods they intend to become have no need for the rest of us as equals. We are going to be liquidated. It's called replacing "lower value human capital." We are experiencing a "financial kill chain" and the war is real. In Freemasonry parlance, this is a "must be."
