Washington DC is a protection racket

Editor's note: Most of us out here have known for years this is how Washington DC works despite whatever shit the media reports. It is profoundly puzzling: The television allows people into your house that you would never ever invite through your front door. What was it we heard years ago, something about "draining the swamp?" If the swamp was drained it appears it filled back up with the same old sewage and the stench is horrible. It's not about politics. It's about greed, money and power. The real question here is what is the solution to the intractable decadence, lust for power and greed going on in Washington? Create new institutions and work arounds and stop contracting with these people. Refuse the offer. It's to the point now that the only way to clean house in Washington DC is with a flamethrower.
