Good riddance Clooney, and take your mediocre movies with you

Editor's note: Who cares if George Clooney decides to leave America as Hollywood collapses? A list of celebrities fleeing a dying industry barely registers compared to everyday Americans watching their culture and jobs sink under corporate greed and arrogant elites who blame fans for their own failures. Hollywood's irrelevance is a symptom, not a crisis with Clooney's passport swap just another reminder that the "American Dream" has devolved into a nightmare and that means less and less to those at the top while the rest pay the price. Clooney's (member of the CFR) reported move to France is not just political posturing, but a return to familiar Venetian elite circles, given his long-noted social and professional ties to influential Italian families that have historically intersected with control over Hollywood, power, culture, and finance.

President Donald Trump celebrated Hollywood star George Clooney and his family leaving the United States for France in a social media post on New Year's Eve.

The move was finalized last weekend after Clooney, his wife Amal Clooney, and their twins Alexander and Ella, were granted citizenship in the European country. The French government said Wednesday that the family "contribute[s], through their distinguished actions, to France's international influence and cultural outreach."

Trump claimed the move was "good news," and claimed the actor was more known for his "politics" than his movies.

"Good News! George and Amal Clooney, two of the worst political prognosticators of all time, have officially become citizens of France which is, sadly, in the midst of a major crime problem because of their absolutely horrendous handling of immigration, much like we had under Sleepy Joe Biden," Trump posted on Truth Social.

"Clooney got more publicity for politics than he did for his very few, and totally mediocre, movies," he continued. "He wasn't a movie star at all, he was just an average guy who complained, constantly, about common sense in politics."
