The US is always in the "punishing mode"

Editor's note: South Africa has had a decades long relationship with Russia and remains neutral in this proxy war on Russia by the west largely the US and the UK. South Africa is of course, also part of BRICS. The relationship the Soviet Union had with South Africa during the eighties and prior is completely different than the relationship Russia has with South Africa now even though the two countries are not big trading partners. The US has accused South Africa of providing arms to Russia. As if a shipload of arms is going to make a difference even if the the arms were sent which still remains to be seen.  The US is always in the "punishing mode." The US can arm Ukraine but when South Africa arms Russia the US goes off the rail politically.  This probably has more to do with South Africa's relationship to China considering BRICS.
