France's Marine Le Pen Threat to NATO - Russia's Sergey Lavrov: "EU Has Become an Arm of NATO"

Editor's note: Russia's extremely capable and articulate Sergey Lavrov correctly asserted the "EU has become an arm of NATO." Has anyone ever thought who exactly are the people behind NATO? That is a correct assessment and France's Marine Le Pen agrees and has come out stating she will pull France out of NATO if elected president. From what we can tell NATO has been politically embarrassed on a global scale based on its failures in Ukraine, so Marine Le Pen's vow to take France out of NATO seems appropriate and long over due. Russia has also stated and demonstrated NATO weapon flows (likely obsolete junk anyway) into Ukraine will be targeted. Ukraine's fate is now in Russia's hands and not NATO. With Le Pen's political threat against NATO and running again Rothschild's pet poodle, Macron releases this statement to politically fend off any accusations that might affect his reelection.

Marine Le Pen Vows to Pull France Out of NATO's Integrated Military Command if Elected President

Le Pen will face Emmanuel Macron in the second round of presidential elections, due to take place on 24 April.

French presidential candidate Marine Le Pen said on Wednesday that she would withdraw France from the NATO Military Command, if she is elected.

"We are not talking about leaving the bloc, but about leaving its command structure," the politician said, adding "But [I] will not renounce Article 5 [collective defence] between members of the Atlantic Alliance".

She also noted that France had already had such an experience: back in 1966, all French armed forces were removed from NATO's integrated military command, and all non-French NATO troops were asked to leave the country. Paris reversed the move and rejoined the bloc's military command only in 2009, during the presidency of Nicolas Sarkozy.

The politician has already called on France to leave NATO's integrated command over the years, saying the structure "perpetuates the anachronistic and aggressive logic of the Cold War blocs". The leader of the National Rally also stressed she is backing "strategic rapprochement" between the alliance and Russia.

Le Pen said it is in the interests of France, Europe, and even the US, noting that they wouldn't be happy to see the emergence of a Russia-China alliance.

In the first round, which took place on Sunday, Incumbent President Emmanuel Macron came first with 27.84% of the vote and Le Pen gained 23.15%. Founder of the party La France Insoumise, left-wing MP Jean-Luc Melenchon, ended up third with 21.95 percent, and journalist Eric Zemmour came fourth with 7.07%.

We forget that until 1947, the United States had a Department of War, referred to as the "War Office," with a cabinet member dubbed the Secretary of War.  After WWII, it dissolved (expanded, in fact) and the joint National Military Establishment formed. In 1949 it became the Department of Defense. It has since morphed into NATO. And America has morphed into a war machine.
