An idealized future that will never come about. Talarico's repeated emphasis on "love of neighbor, public education, and this-worldly reform" therefore sits uneasily with pure gnostic categories and remains a point of genuine philosophical disagreement rather than a settled conclusion. Contrary to where Gnosticism flees the material world as a prison and Christianity judges it by a higher moral law, paganism accepts this world as the only arena that matters: a raw, unending contest of natural law, strength, cunning, and survival in which the strong endure and the weak are forgotten.

Lloyd's of London Pricing Makes Hormuz Tanker Passage Unviable

Editor's note: Lloyds of London's insurance and reinsurance market has turned the Strait of Hormuz into a commercial dead zone for most oil tankers. War-risk premiums for a single transit now run 7.5 to 10 percent of a vessel's hull value, up from fractions of a percent before the conflict (commercial warfare). On a typical very large crude carrier that adds millions of dollars per voyage. It now costs upwards of $7.5 million per ship for a single transit. You pay at the pump. Shipping firms cannot absorb those costs while Iran's IRGC forces continue to threaten and strike commercial traffic in the Gulf. The US Navy is also destroying ships in the straight. The physical risk is real: attacks, mines, and interference have already damaged ships and killed crew. Insurance remains available in theory, but the price has made normal commercial passage unworkable for the majority of owners. The result is an 80 to 85 percent collapse in daily transits. Owners face a simple calculation: pay ruinous premiums for a voyage that still carries genuine chance of attack, or keep ships and crews out of the waterway. Most choose the latter. High insurance costs, driven by the elevated threat level, have become the decisive barrier.

This entry program needs to be considered as part of Ottawa's strategy to potentially use this "foreign" force under Carney to pacify an increasing agitated Canadian civilian population especially in Alberta who oppose Ottawa. The increasing number of foreign migrants into Canada through Canada's military could potentially be used against Canadians having no allegiance to what it means to be a Canadian citizen.

A record 120,640 citizens and permanent residents left Canada in 2025, the most since Statistics Canada began keeping the numbers in 1952. In the first quarter of 2026, another 30,092 followed, the highest first-quarter total ever recorded. Only 9,952 returned. The country's population shrank in consecutive quarters. These are not the numbers of a nation that believes in its own future, and they have arrived on Prime Minister Carney's watch.
