With the rollout of 5G and 5G smart phones, Taiwan's TSMC (the world's biggest contract chip maker) had huge gains of 54%.

Way back in 2003, there were accusations China stole TSMC's trade secrets. China's Huawei is dependent on TSMC for chips in its smart phones and technology. Don't underestimate Taiwan's strength in microprocessor manufacturing. It leads the world. The shipment value of Taiwanese semiconductors was estimated to reach $82.2 billion in 2018. This in addition to TSMC investing $3 billion to build a TSMC chip manufacturing facility in China in 2016. TSMC fabs in China are generally 2 generations behind, due to laws in Taiwan to prevent China from access to the technology. As an example: TSMC just started 16nm in China in 2019 when Taiwan already had 7nm.

This video is being gaffed off as video taken from a drone of "mass burial of coronavirus victims being buried on Hart Island in New York" because the morgues are overflowing with the dead. What you are actually seeing are the remains of dead after human bones started appearing along the shorelines because of erosion taking place on the island. There are an estimated one million human remains buried on the island throughout the past 200 years. All the way from the indigent to dead prisoners to victims of tuberculosis have been buried on Hart Island. What you see are likely inmates from Rikers Island paid $6 an hour to collect the remains and rebury them in these trenches. If you see this clip being posted to social media platforms, call people out on this bullshit. This clip was put out by the UK-based Telegraph as well as many other major media networks so you know right away it is bullshit. The Hill should be ashamed of themselves for putting this up as a news story on coronavirus without confirming.

News update for 7 April 2020: Britain pulls out of 5G contract with Chinese firm Huawei for test kits found contaminated with coronavirus

Beyond whatever this government subterfuge is about coronavirus testing, UK's Foreign Secretary and First Secretary of State Dominic Raab (deputized by UK PM Boris Johnson) announced that the UK government "seeks a refund for millions of coronavirus antibody tests" that were purchased from China. It turns out the coronavirus tests were too unreliable. Apparently, the UK will depend on Raab to "lead them through the coronavirus hurtles." While Raab presents the claims on behalf of the UK government the Chinese manufactured coronavirus tests are unreliable, Raab sees nothing wrong with allowing China's Huawei to build 5G infrastructure in the UK that an Australian Parliamentary intelligence committee member strongly opposes. The Chinese electronics giant Huawei was founded by Ren Zhengfei who was a member of the PLA (People's Liberation Army). It would be a good argument that there is absolutely no way Huawei could refuse authoritarian CCP requests.
