If you decide to walk into California because...

Editor's note: ... you can't drive your car anymore arm yoursleves. Welcome to Governor White Teeth's California as Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass signed an ordinance enacting a complete ban on new oil and gas drilling while establishing a twenty year timeline to phase out all existing extraction operations within city limits. While framed by city officials as "a victory for environmental justice and public health" (it's really about the red-green alliance and deindustrialization), critics view the timing as a politically motivated maneuver designed to shore up progressive support amid a competitive local political climate just before the mid-terms. The accelerating elimination of local energy production in California will only increase reliance on foreign imports, exacerbate already high regional fuel costs, and burden California consumers under the guise of progressive virtue signaling.

Inspirational man walks 2,500 miles in five months across the country from his New York home to San Francisco... before immediately being robbed in California

An inspirational New York man walked up to 2,500 miles across the country to San Francisco in five months, only to be robbed immediately upon arriving in California.

Chantz Rivera, a Bronx resident, left his home on May 31 and headed West across the country on foot for up to 149 days before he arrived at the San Francisco Golden Gate bridge in California on October 27.

A viral video showcased Rivera trekking across Marin County with only a shopping cart full of his personal belongings before he was unexpectedly robbed at a fast-food chain.

'It's Day 149! I think it's time. I think today is the day we touch the Pacific Ocean. I think today we're going to cross the Golden Gate bridge... to complete the journey,' Rivera exclaimed in his Instagram video.

Rivera documented the numerous obstacles he endured like being stopped by a Marin County police officer who inspected his shopping cart, descending down steep hills and rocky terrain, as well as walking barefoot through a flooded bike path in knee-deep water.

Rivera explained to The San Francisco Standard that after his long journey he was sleeping at Golden Gate Park before he woke up to visit a nearby McDonald's.

'I go to the McDonald's and my stuff gets stolen...they took my portable charger and my survival kit bag,' Rivera stated in a social media video.

At the fast-food restaurant on Fillmore Street and Golden Gate Avenue he left the cart briefly unattended before someone rummaged through his items.
