From a variety of news reports and available insights, Israel consistently leads the world in AI talent concentration, with roughly 2% of its workforce or professional network users possessing AI-related skills, far higher than any peer. This dense pool of expertise, fed by elite universities (Technion and Tel Aviv University rank among the global top 30 for AI talent and startup production) and a strong military-technology pipeline, underpins a vibrant ecosystem of roughly 2,300–3,000 AI companies, about one-third of Israel's entire high-tech sector. Generative AI alone accounts for hundreds of specialized startups that have collectively raised more than $20 billion to date.
Capital flows reflect this dominance. In 2025, Israeli AI companies raised approximately $11.8 billion across roughly 500 rounds, capturing nearly 90% of all high-tech investment in the country. Funding has shifted toward later-stage deals, signaling maturation, while cybersecurity-AI hybrids, enterprise agents, data infrastructure, and edge AI remain standout areas. Foreign investors participate heavily, and multinational R&D centers further amplify the ecosystem.
Israel excels in applied and specialized AI rather than absolute frontier-model training at hyperscale. Absolute compute capacity, energy infrastructure, and pure government spend still lag the United States and China. National strategies are accelerating to close these gaps, targeting expanded accelerator capacity, quantum capabilities, and broader integration. Overall, Israel functions as a genuine AI powerhouse on talent, commercial impact, and relative scale, punching well above its weight while remaining highly dependent on private capital and international partnerships.

Editor's note: So, here we are facing a destructive phase linked to what the religionists describe as the "biblical Second Seal at its height", with the agenda to take peace from the Earth. This is presented as a repeat performance of patterns already seen in ancient history, timed to Olympiad-to-Pythian cycles and directed toward a Sodom and Gomorrah-style civilizational reset that precedes any Phoenix-like rebirth. The primary social divide is not liberal versus conservative. It is between those who withdraw into the Metaverse to live, work, play and earn inside an alternate digital reality and those who remain fully present in the physical world. Depopulation is measured less by deaths than by the decline in bodies still active in ordinary reality. Is this what Yuval Noah Harari means in his view of a coming bifurcation of humanity: an enhanced minority able to reshape bodies, minds and environments, set against a much larger population left behind or rendered economically superfluous. The Metaverse version of the split relocates that separation into digital versus physical presence, continuing an older cycle of division and withdrawal.
Conducted on behalf of Israel:
Israeli AI companies and talent maintain extensive ties to the US through dual operations, executive roles, and partnerships. Founders of Israeli AI startups frequently join or supply technology to American firms, while US companies acquire Israeli AI and chip specialists focused on data center efficiency. Israeli developers also partner with US cloud providers on local data center projects, and Israelis hold senior positions inside major American AI organizations. The common pattern keeps core research and development in Israel while placing commercial leadership, sales, and market access in the US.
This is probably the most realistic assessment of AI available:
