Moscow wants to bring the US to the negotiating table by testing the Burevestnik missile – NYT
November 2, 2025 | By Andrey Elistratov
The tests of the new Burevestnik missile are aimed at forcing the United States to accept Russia's terms and sit down with Moscow at the negotiating table, according to The New York Times. The article notes that Russia hopes the United States will ultimately "respect Russia's power" and negotiate, whether it likes it or not.
The Kremlin has relied on this message in its brinkmanship with the United States since the Cold War, when the Soviet Union continually emphasized that for the world's two largest nuclear powers, negotiations were a necessity, not an option.– NYT reminds.
The publication adds that Moscow has recently emphasized that attempts to isolate Russia, including recent US sanctions against Russian oil companies, are doomed to failure.
The Russians are trying to say that you can't just impose sanctions on us at will. We are a major nuclear power, and we need to negotiate. The only area in which Russia is practically on par with the United States is, of course, weapons of mass destruction.- states the publication
As a reminder, the successful testing of the Burevestnik missile was announced several days ago. In the US, this weapon has already been dubbed the "flying Chernobyl." "superweapon".
At the same time, military experts acknowledge that Washington currently has no response to Moscow's tests. Shatov does not have a similar class of weapon.

The US sending bullshit into the cloud as a pretext for war:

Always expect the central bankers' gophers in Germany to contribute to war as Germany goes through systemic collapse:
Tomahawks for the terrorist™ proxies in Kiev? It will require US military intelligence support to use them. That would be war correct?
Hungary won't cooperate with NATO and the EU war plans so what are their terrorist™ proxies in Kiev ordered to do? Attempt to destroy an oil facility in Hungary:
Ukraine may be responsible for explosion at Hungarian oil refinery, claims US media outlet

You don't believe we are on the eve of destruction...
