The United States of Palantir

Editor's note: There exists a complex intertwined relationship between government spending, corporate interests, and national debt like for example the $10 billion US Army contract with Palantir Technologies (see J.R.R. Tolkien, AI and Transhumanism). Palantir's business model is heavily dependent on government contracts. Makes sense, Palantir was partially funded by the CIA's (funding for the CIA is a "state secret") venture capital arm, In-Q-Tel ($2 million seed money) with the idea for Palantir spawned at Stanford (CIA recruitment). Over half of Palantir's revenue comes from government clients, with a substantial portion from US government agencies, including the Department of Defense (DoD), CIA, and other intelligence and law enforcement agencies. Palantir is being paid for a service—providing data analytics and AI software to run the surveillance state. Reliance on the US government is a significant portion of its revenue and this creates a powerful incentive for the company to support policies that ensure a steady flow of government spending. Where does the $10 billion come from. Debt by selling US Treasury securities.

Peter Thiel Is Revealed As The Master Architect Of The Technocratic Takeover Of Washington, D.C.

The term "debt-based government" refers to a system where the government consistently spends more than it collects in revenue, funding the deficit through borrowing. The current US government debt is estimated at $36.7 trillion and growing. This has been the reality for the US for decades. Although "reality" is probably an inadequate description. The US Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnik, is working to keep this "debt-based government" going and to do that they introduced the GENIUS Act. As pointed out in a previous post, the entire financial premise behind stablecoins as the stablecoin market grows, is to use stablecoins to increase the demand for US Treasuries to back the US debt-based government. For Palantir, the most direct interest is maintaining and growing its government revenue. As long as the government continues to fund its operations through debt, there is a source of money for large-scale contracts for defense, intelligence, AI build out and other services very few Americans comprehend or are even aware of. A sudden shift to fiscal austerity or a drastic cut in government spending would be a direct threat to a major part of Palantir's corporate interests.

Right, impressive numbers given by this techno nationalist (discernment required) because of US government contracts with CIA (access to billions of dollars through the National Intelligence Program) backing:

Thiel, as a co-founder and major investor in Palantir, uses his political donations and influence to support a pro-crypto, pro-tech, and defense-friendly political environment. This aligns with Palantir's business interests and ensures a favorable climate for government contracts. The US government uses Palantir's software for what it deems "mission-critical operations, including intelligence analysis, counter-terrorism, and defense." From this perspective, the US government's interest is in having the best technology available, and a debt-based system allows it to acquire this technology without immediately raising taxes or cutting other programs. It is often politically easier for elected officials to fund programs through borrowing rather than by raising taxes or cutting popular spending. This means that a debt-based system is a politically convenient way to continue funding government services and contractors like Palantir.

The bottom line for Palantir is in its interest that the government continues to be a major source of its revenue, which under the current debt-based system, is largely enabled by deficit spending and accumulated debt. For the US government, the interest is in obtaining services it deems essential, and debt is the tool it uses to do so. This creates a powerful, mutually reinforcing loop. A radical change to a balanced budget approach would be a significant risk to Palantir's business interests. The really big problem with what is going on here with US government contracts with Palantir is that US senate and congressional members responsible for budgetary oversight have no idea what Palantir is building.

It's highly unlikely most politicians have a deep, technical understanding of what Palantir is building. Their knowledge is often a high-level, policy-oriented awareness of the company's work, frequently filtered through media reports, extremely aggressive lobbying, political arguments, and the information provided by the company's own representatives. This and the fact that Palantir is an extremely aggressive at lobbying efforts. When Palantir places the sales point of their technology as being critical to "national security" the sale is concluded.

Palantir's platforms like Gotham (a private tech company used in Ukraine to fight Russia) for defense and intelligence, and Foundry for commercial and civil use are highly complex. They are designed for data integration, analytics, and AI-driven insights from disparate, and often sensitive datasets. A politician without a technical background would likely find it extremely difficult to grasp the intricacies of how these systems work, especially with regard to the underlying data architecture, algorithms, and security protocols. You can see this when there are congressional hearings for example where tech wizards like Thiel or Musk are interviewed. US congressional members look like deer in the headlights of a car bewildered by the contents of what they are being briefed on.

Consider the incomprehensible $36.7 trillion debt US senate and congressional members are confronted with. Palantir's work with the IRS to create a "mega-database" of American citizens is probably the carrot hanging out in front of these senators and congressional members. Palantir sells the idea their data base for the IRS will secure more taxes. The senators and US congressional members look at each other in glee. Who cares about the potential for violations of privacy laws like the Privacy Act of 1974 and the tax code? Would any cognizant American aware of what is going on here with the US government (corporation) contracting with the private corporation Palantir knowingly and willingly up front provide their private and personal data and information to Palantir? No, they wouldn't. When you oppose what is going on here you become "a threat to the national security state." The American people are not formulated or incorporated into the framework and mechanisms of "national security."

Many Americans are wondering how ICE agents can identify and go after "illegal" immigrants seemingly so easily is because ICE is using a Palantir database. All of a sudden a truck stops and ICE agents unexpectedly jump out to converge on a group of illegal immigrants for example, working at a construction site. That's Palantir in action just as Palantir systems are used by Israel's IDF to target Palestinians. Palantir's technology has been used by some police departments for "predictive policing," using data to forecast where or who might commit crimes. Palantir has secured contracts to manage data for public health agencies, including the Center for Disease Control (CDC).  A misnomer. The CDC doesn't "prevent disease", they create the markets for the injections but that is something all together different for this post. You weren't Covid injected? You will be receiving a visit shortly by federal agents. The Covid attack on civilization - and on you - was a global plebiscite. People all over the world voted either for or against tyranny. Sadly, the global majority voted in favor of tyranny. A technocracy managed, run and controlled by technocrats with Palantir running the algorithms in the background deployed on major cloud service providers like Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud, and Microsoft Azure running on "client servers."

Palantir was contracted by the US Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) to build and power a software platform called Tiberius ($31 million contract). This system was designed to track the production, distribution, and administration of COVID-19 injections - a medical procedure - across the US. Tiberius integrated data from federal agencies, state and local governments, pharmaceutical cartels that run governments, and distributors to provide a "common operating picture" for health officials. When the Covid attack kicked off Palantir was already in place ready to go with US government contracts worth millions (also see Palantir Books $443M Contract to Help Modernize CDC's Public Health Infrastructure).

Palantir (Palantíri) from J.R.R. Tolkien's (see J.R.R. Tolkien, AI and Transhumanism) legendarium, specifically from his famous works like The Lord of the Rings and The Silmarillion with "seeing stones", "far-seer" or "far-gazer."  Now that you know what Palantir is focus on this...
