The EU is bankrupt, senator, so what it comes down to is that the EU goes to war with Russia or face millions of Europeans who are going to go after their respective parliaments with pitch forks when the EU defaults unable to pay off pension obligations (beyond reforming) and social safety nets. It is not up to the US on any negotiated outcomes (there will be no cease fire) concerning Ukraine when the EU countries are assembling a European military on the borders with Russia. War only takes place when people are desperate and the EU is desperate. The EU when Angela Merkel was in power planned for this war all along when they betrayed Russia on the Minsk Agreements. The Minsk Agreements were designed to allow Ukraine enough time to build its military. Kiev then sent in the Ukrainian military to attack the Dunbass region in 2014 to antagonize and provoke Russia. Victorian Nuland who was an architect then installed an interim government and it was this interim government that started the "civil war" (Maiden Uprising) in Ukraine and not the elected government. The mineral deal is not going to stop war, Senator Kennedy, Ukraine is toast. So is Zelensky. He needs G4S British and American body guards it is so bad. Zelensky is a British-backed scumbag and everyone knows it. The death toll is well over one million dead Ukrainian soldiers with 8 million Ukrainians having fled the place. The US needs to pull out of NATO before they attempt pulling off an Article 5. What the hell does Russia want in Europe US warmongers think Russia would invade Europe over? Europe has no gold, no silver, no oil, no gas, no minerals. Fucking French wine? Stop pandering to your Louisiana constituents and the American people with bellicose ridiculous and nonsensical comments like "turn Russia into fish food."
