Over 2,500 people died or went missing while trying to cross the Mediterranean Sea to reach Europe by September this year, finds the U.N. High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), which noted a huge jump from last year's figure from the same period of 1,680.
UNHCR Director Ruven Menikdiwela told the U.N. Security Council in a briefing Thursday that despite the increased number of deaths and accidents, migrants' move into Europe did not slow down and there is no reason to believe that it will in the near future.
Menikdiwela said that at least 186,000 reached Europe through the Mediterranean in the same period.
Almost 83 percent of all those who landed in Europe — 130,000 — landed in Italy, with the rest distributed among various other coastal European countries such as Greece and Spain.
The UNHCR reiterated how the land route usually taken by migrants and refugees to reach the sea through Sub-Saharan Africa and the sea crossing points in Libya and Tunisia remain extremely dangerous due to wars and local conflicts in the region.
More migrants lose their lives on land, "away from public attention," Menikdiwela said.
Menikdiwela also reported that more than 100,000 went via Tunisia to cross the Mediterranean this year, which is a 260 percent increase from the last year. In comparison, around 45,000 people did the same from Libya.
The International Organization of Migration (IOM) reports a slightly higher figure of 2,778 for those who died or disappeared in the Mediterranean Sea between January and September this year, according to Pär Liljert, the IOM's director. The organization says that of the total, 2,093 died in the Central Mediterranean alone, which is the world's deadliest sea route.
More than 28,105 migrants have either gone missing or died in the Mediterranean since 2014, according to the IOM.

Whoever is managing and behind this intentional global migration movement knows what they are doing and this imperative has been in operation for decades. It is only recently where it is now acute. Those thousands of mosques being built in Europe particularly France, in Canada, the the UK and in the US are likely simultaneously being used as "storage facilities?" Storage facilities to store weapons like knives, machetes, swords and guns? This is alleged to be especially so in mosques in the UK. There are cells of Islamic men between the ages of 17 and 35 who are being moved into areas of America and Europe who are being placed temporarily in hotels and other facilities. They can't stay there forever. All the hotels where Muslim men are being housed in the UK have been leased out two years in advance. What are they waiting for? An "Executive Order 66" to move them to action? What are we suggesting? We are suggesting that all these Islamic cells that have been built over the last decade or so are going to wait for their Executive Order 66 and they will go into a mode of frenzied terrorism. This will be exaggerated in the media to multiply the coming global events.

Commander Cody, the time has come. Execute Order 66...
We would be well advised to understand who Muhammed (he was a medium) was and what Americans might be facing on or before the Paris Summer Olympics of 2024. Islam is now the fastest growing religion in the world and there is no abating or slowing this growth down. Archontics is the force that is behind the spread of Islam. There are obviously good and decent Muslims but when religions go haywire look out. The subsequent violence goes frenetic.
This is how you do it:
They are not in Sweden to integrate. They are in Sweden to conquer:
Americans better get a grip here because these types of attacks are unprovoked and out of control. There was also a machete attack in Chicago:
What is America's solution before Order 66 is executed? America allies with Russia in forming a "common socio-cultural space." A "tripartite northern geopolitical cluster" to end this grotesque and hideous perverseness of this day to be replaced by creation.
