Monopolizing Resources for the US Corporation

Editor's note: This is US Army General Laura Richardson discussing "adversaries in the region" and "the number two adversary in the region" Russia as "competitors to US strategic interests." Russia and China do not see the US as an adversary in Syria for example, where the US has its military allegedly pillaging oil and wheat? As long as resources are available for extraction the US is not going to simply walk out of Syria. US strategic interest can be translated to US corporations using the military to secure resources. The US wants the monopoly on the extraction of lithium in South America. The US has and will by any means necessary secure those resources including destabilizing governments and destroying entire countries to secure those assets with the US operating on the assumption it owns all these resources including lithium. Governments in the region do not have the right to negotiate and conduct trade with Russia and China?
