The Russian artillery and air force launched an unprecedented offensive that left Ukrainians counting 790 dead in 24 hours. The Russian Army is now in the northern suburb of Severodonetsk, Voevodovka.
Severodonetsk is a key city for the development of Russian operations as it was designated by Kiev as the administrative centre of the 'Luhansk region'.
But more importantly, Wagner's forces occupy the town of Popasnaya. The "musicians" are leading the operation in this fortress town.
