Obama to arrive in Malaysia via Air Force One on Saturday to spend two nights following trips to Tokyo and Seoul.
A visit by U.S. President Barack Obama returns the eyes of the world to Malaysia this weekend, barely 50 days after the country was forced into the limelight with the tragic disappearance of Malaysia Airlines flight MH370.
Obama is scheduled to arrive via Air Force One at the Subang air force base on Saturday afternoon to spend two nights in the country following trips to Tokyo and Seoul.
With three days of tight program, the U.S. commander-in-chief will spend his nights at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel Kuala Lumpur, a [Marriott] luxury hotel chain originating from his homeland.
Obama was initially slated for the visit last October, but had to postpone it at the eleventh hour due to a budget standoff, which led to a partial U.S. government shutdown.
Upon arrival Saturday, he is expected to be greeted by Malaysian Prime Minister Datuk Seri Mohd Najib Razak, accompanied by several key cabinet ministers, before boarding his official vehicle – Cadillac 1 a.k.a "The Beast."
Later on in the day, a formal welcome ceremony is scheduled at the Parliament Square to be followed by an audience with the Malaysian King followed by a state banquet at The Royal Palace.
It will be a busier day for the President Sunday as five events are listed in his proposed agenda, keeping him busy for the whole day.
He is expected to begin his Sunday visit with a stopover at the U.S. Embassy in Jalal Tun Razak, followed by a cultural visit to the National Mosque.
Bilateral talks between Obama and Najib are expected to happen in the administrative capital Putrajaya, followed by both leaders witnessing the signing of key government-to-government cooperations.
The heads of state will also then launch the Malaysian Global Innovation and Creative Centre (MaGIC) near Cyberjaya, aimed to transform Malaysia into a dynamic entrepreneurial nation.
Obama is then expected to deliver a much-awaited speech at a town hall session in Malaysia's first higher education institution, the Universiti Malaya.
The session will have extra spice with Obama taking questions from ten young leaders, each representing respective ASEAN member nations.
Obama is also scheduled to meet selected Malaysian civil rights leaders.
On Monday morning, the President will witness the signing of several corporate agreements between U.S. and Malaysian companies, before leaving for the Philippines.
Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370 went missing after losing radio contact with Malaysian and Vietnamese air traffic control after leaving Kuala Lumpur International Airport on March 8.
The Beijing-bound flight was carrying 239 passengers including 12-flight crew from 14 different countries.
Air and water searches involving boats, planes and now submarines have failed to find any sign of the plane.

“Sheraton hotel general manager arrested on child porn charges

Massachusetts police last week arrested a veteran hotel manager inside his current hotel – a Sheraton in suburban Boston – on child pornography charges.
Police arrested Robert Diduca, 46, at the Sheraton hotel in Framingham, Mass., after acting on a tip from U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement [allegedly thrown under the pedophile bus by Field McConnell’s sister and ConAir founder, Kristine Marcy] . Early searches of his computer storage devices revealed some 10,000 images of young children, according to ICE. Diduca is also alleged to have videos of young children engaged in sexual acts.
Diduca’s lawyer told a local TV station that there was no evidence that any images were taken at the Sheraton hotel or involved any guests [WRONG QUESTION!].
In ICE’s Friday statement, Worcester District Attorney Joseph D. Early, Jr., is quoted as saying:
“This is a particularly disgusting crime and any time we can put a dent in the dissemination of child pornography, it’s a good day for law enforcement.”
In a Milford District Court courtroom last week, Diduca last week pleaded not guilty to two counts of possession of child pornography and one count of dissemination of child pornography. A judge set his bail at $5,000 and set the next court date in January.
Prior to last week’s arrest, investigators had made “direct contact” with Diduca over the Internet, Milford Police Chief Thomas O’Loughlin told the Milford Daily News. “It’s been going on for some time,” O’Loughlin told the paper.
Diduca has been the Sheraton’s general manager for the last eight years, according to a story by local ABC affiliate WHDH-TV.A local chamber of commerce lists him as a board member. A company website says he has 24 years of experience at a range of hotels including Marriott, Hilton, Doubletree and Sheraton [Key player in setting up the MI-3 Master Innholders Crossed Keys blackmail service].
Richard Sweeney, Diduca’s defense attorney, told WHDH-TV that there is no evidence that the images involved the hotel or hotel guests.
“There is no evidence whatsoever, not in the Commonwealth’s papers or anywhere, that there were any pictures taken at the hotel or of any guests at the hotel or anything even remotely related to the hotel other than the fact that he worked at that hotel, and at the hotel he had on his possession a laptop…and a thumb drive.”In court, prosecutor Cheryl Riddle said the suspect is “someone who is constantly online and uploading, downloading, sharing, trading and collecting images of children being sexually abused, WHDH-TV says. The report continues:Investigators caught onto him after he allegedly was regularly participating in online chat rooms. One of the names he would go by, according to investigators, was “Babytodd.” Allegedly he made disturbing comments about toddlers and little boys.
The investigation continues, according to the Milford Daily News article.”

She travelled daily from Lahore to Gujranwalla. When Barack Obama visited Pakistan, he stayed in the same hotel.” “

Review of Sheraton Chicago Hotel and Towers

This is a nice hotel with a fantastic view and location (walking distance to Navy Pier and Michigan Avenue). However the real reason I was inclined to write this review was to acknowledge the tremendous service we received on a stay there this weekend. From the front desk at check-in to the bellmen assisting with our luggage, they could not have been friendlier. We had an especially remarkable experience with one of the housekeepers (Patricia) who provided outstanding and friendly customer service (that I won’t fully detail here), but it is worth noting that she wouldn’t even accept my tip. I sent a note to the General Manager to specifically acknowledge her, but the service we received warranted a post here as well. P.S. President Obama was even having a private 25-person fundraiser [alleged Sheraton-sponsored extortion racket] there the Sunday we left . . . if it’s good enough for him, it’s probably good enough for you.”

May be I am missing something but isn't there two possibilities re Robert Diduca?

2. He was a high risk pedophile - operating within a pedophile ring that was under investigation by the FBI.
