Today there was a public meeting hosted by the Public Health division of the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare to receive comments on the issue of changing gender on Certificates of Live Birth.

In April of 2017, a case was filed (1:17-cv-00170-CWD) in the United States District Court for the District of Idaho against the Idaho Department of Public Affairs, the Administrator of the Division of Public Health and the State Registrar and Chief of the Bureau of Vital Records and Health Statistics asking for Declaratory and Injunctive Relief from the state's refusal to change gender on the birth certificate.

The Plaintiff in the case was a transgender who wanted his birth certificate to reflect that he was female at birth.

Fifty UW-Madison professors make over $300,000 per year

Of the 100 top-earning state employees in Wisconsin in 2018, the vast majority worked for the University of Wisconsin-Madison, as well as a few at UW-Milwaukee, according to an analysis conducted by The College Fix.

According to a list generated by The Fix using public state employee salary information maintained by the Green Bay Press Gazette and Wisconsin State Journal newspapers, 50 UW-Madison professors and assistant professors made over $300,000 in gross pay in the 2018 school year. Topping the salary list for professors at the public university was economics professor and dean of the department Ananth Seshadri, who made $537,000 in 2018.

There is a great debate going on at the moment about Darwinism, especially after Yale professor David Gelernter published an article in which he basically agreed with the devastating criticism leveled at the theory by the scholars associated with the Discovery Institute. It is true: the creed of Darwinism is under attack, the foundation of materialist atheism is shaking, the worldview held by most people today - including many religious people - is crumbling. It is a beautiful sight for those of us who know that Darwinism is wrong, dead wrong and couldn't be any more wrong.

At the same time, people are confused. It's no secret that many critics of Darwinism - brilliant as they are in their scientific rigor - are also religious, mostly Christians. Some even try to smuggle in Jesus in their otherwise flawless books. If Darwinism is wrong, which it is without a shred of a doubt, should we all go back to the bible? This implicit assumption is inducing three major errors.

First, the United States tends to select military-centric strategies that have low probabilities of success.

Second, the United States is slow to modify losing or ineffective strategies due to cognitive obstacles, internal frictions, and patron-client challenges with the host nation government.

The Foreign Ministry spokesperson was caught on camera dancing the Lezginka, a fast-paced, energetic dance popular in the Caucasus Mountains.

The video is from a youth forum where a professional dancer persuaded Zakharova to show off her dancing skills as the audience claps. Her male partner was actually there to teach visitors how a proper Lezginka is done.
