Editor's note: ...like the US Institute of Peace (USIP) the US congress is supposed to have oversight on. They are nothing but institutionalized grift and offer nothing of productive value to society. When the grifters at the USIP advocate for peace what they really mean is war. Think about it. Nobody makes any money when there is genuine peace. The USIP has provided funding to the Taliban (sustaining the global drug trade) and Iraq. How is this supposed to contribute to peace and be advantageous to America's interests? George Moose who is at the head of USIP if he hasn't already been fired after an estimated 200 to 300 employees have been fired needs to step down then go find something more productive to do in life considering the non profit he heads up has bilked $55 million out of the US Treasury in 2023 alone. How is the institute doing after three years of deadly conflict in Ukraine? The USIP is a federally-funded national security institution "devoted to the non-violent prevention and mitigation of deadly conflict abroad." Having a large proportion of its employees as members of the Democratic Party with the average employee pulling in $61,078 per year in government checks we have a serious deficit here in peace.
