Pay off

Editor's note: Kamala Harris is paid off after a job well done. Astonishing how all these politicians are paid off to enjoy extravagant retirement lifestyles. After a book deal, maybe 2 or 3 more, some speaking engagements, gossip magazine stories, tabloid shit, special appearances, honorary degrees, insider stock speculation and so on, Harris should be worth an easy $100 million in the coming years. This book deal (ghost written) is like money laundering. Nobody is going to read the damn book anyway so Harris is paid off up front. Whatever is written in the book will be titillating boiler plate content that will have absolutely zero impact on the national conscience. Maybe Harris will write about her alcoholism telling readers why she turned to the bottle?

Book publishers offering Kamala Harris up to $20m for inside look at Biden's White House - report

Investing.com -- Kamala Harris, the soon-to-be former vice president and two-time unsuccessful Democratic presidential candidate is being courted by top publishers with an offer of an advance as high as $20 million, the DailyMail.com reported. The offer is for an inside account of President Joe Biden's White House and her failed presidential campaign.

The news was revealed to DailyMail.com by an insider close to the vice president. The source disclosed that offers from the publishing world began to roll in almost immediately after her loss to Trump. The book is expected to provide an in-depth account of the relationship between Joe and the vice president, detailing the successes and failures within the Oval Office and her campaign.

The advance being proposed is in the $20 million range, but could potentially be more when considering other publishing rights. The possibility of such a substantial sum isn't unprecedented. For example, Barack and Michelle Obama secured a joint deal from Penguin Random House in 2017 that came with a $65 million advance. In 2001, Bill Clinton received a $10 million advance.
