The most likely scenario here is that one or more of the documents possessed by Trump contained the closely guarded identity of a counterintelligence source deeply embedded in Israeli military affairs (perhaps an NSA agent and/or operation), and now Israel has uncovered a critical weakness in its own intelligence structures.
In other words, Israel exploited Trump to thwart and defeat one of the few advantages enjoyed by the independent American intelligence community over the aggressive and hostile Zionist fifth column. Trump didn't release the documents probably because he didn't want anyone to know that he was casually engaging in what can only be called high treason (but then, for him and the Republicans, it wouldn't really be treason, would it?).
