Read more Ed Miliband, the Labour leader, has said that if the leaked documents disclose the truth there would be an "overwhelming case for the bidding process to be reopened immediately". The latest revelations include the claim that Bin Hammam brokered government-level talks through the Thai member of Fifa's executive committee (Exco) to push a gas deal that was potentially worth tens of millions of dollars to Thailand.

Another allegation is that he was invited to visit Vladimir Putin to discuss "bilateral relations" in sport between Russia and Qatar a month before the World Cup vote took place in December 2010, which resulted in their landslide victories to stage the tournament in 2018 and 2022 respectively.

They also allege that the disgraced Qatari official arranged for Michel Platini, the Uefa football chief and an Exco member, to meet the Qatari bid committee and that he arranged discreet meetings with members of the Qatari royal family for at least seven key Exco members, including the Fifa president, Sepp Blatter. Another allegation is that Bin Hammam used secret slush funds to make payments totalling $1.7m to football officials across Asia.

Advertisement An Exco meeting between Blatter, Platini and others broke up on Saturday night with further refusal to comment on the Bin Hammam allegations.

Michael Garcia, Fifa's in-house investigator, last week announced that he would cut short his investigation into corruption in the World Cup bidding process ahead of Fifa's congress in São Paulo on Tuesday without reviewing the fresh evidence.

Miliband said: "Few people will have much confidence in the investigation being conducted by Fifa unless it takes full account of the evidence uncovered by theSunday Times."

He said the Fifa files contained "startling evidence that the decision to make Qatar the host for the World Cup in 2022 may have been corrupted".

The newspaper alleges that the files "lay bare" the degree to which Bin Hammam could use his connections to get key football figures to meet the emir, the crown prince and other senior royals as part of the campaign to generate support for Qatar's bid.

It states: "The files show that Bin Hammam was fixing the meetings for members of Qatar's ruling family with football's most powerful men at the same time as using a network of secret slush funds to buy up a groundswell of support among the bosses of national football associations."

05.27.1510:00 AM ET Corrupt FIFA Has Clinton Foundation Ties; World Cup Host Qatar Gave Millions Both Bill Clinton and his family's charity have been tied to soccer's governing body, as well as Qatar's disastrous World Cup bid. And just like that, another Clinton Foundation donor is in the news.

The Clinton global charity has received between $50,000 and $100,000 from soccer's governing body and has partnered with the Fédération Internationale de Football Association on several occasions, according to donor listings on the foundation's website.

Several top FIFA executives were arrested Wednesday in Zurich and face corruption charges stretching back two decades, according to the U.S. Department of Justice.

Involvement with the embattled body extends beyond the foundation to Bill Clinton himself. The former president was an honorary chairman of the bid committee put together to promote the United States as a possible host nation for the 2018 or 2022 World Cup.

When the U.S. lost the 2022 bid to Qatar, Clinton was rumored to be so upset he shattered a mirror.

But apparently Qatar tried to make it up to him.

The Qatar 2022 Supreme Committee, partnering with the State of Qatar, "committed to utilizing its research and development for sustainable infrastructure at the 2022 FIFA World Cup to improve food security in Qatar, the Middle East, and other arid and water-stressed regions throughout the world," according to the Clinton Foundation website.

The cost of the two-year project is not listed on the Clinton Foundation website, but the Qatar 2022 committee gave the foundation between $250,000 and $500,000 in 2014 and the State of Qatar gave between $1 million and $5 million in previous, unspecified years."

"DOUBLE DEALING 06.14.145:45 AM ET America's Allies Are Funding ISIS The Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS), now threatening Baghdad, was funded for years by wealthy donors in Kuwait, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia, three U.S. allies that have dual agendas in the war on terror.

The extremist group that is threatening the existence of the Iraqi state was built and grown for years with the help of elite donors from American supposed allies in the Persian Gulf region. There, the threat of Iran, Assad, and the Sunni-Shiite sectarian war trumps the U.S. goal of stability and moderation in the region.

It's an ironic twist, especially for donors in Kuwait (who, to be fair, back a wide variety of militias). ISIS has aligned itself with remnants of the Baathist regime once led by Saddam Hussein. Back in 1990, the U.S. attacked Iraq in order to liberate Kuwait from Hussein's clutches. Now Kuwait is helping the rise of his successors.

As ISIS takes over town after town in Iraq, they are acquiring money and supplies including American made vehicles, arms, and ammunition.

The group reportedly scored $430 million this week when they looted the main bank in Mosul. They reportedly now have a stream of steady income sources, including from selling oil in the Northern Syrian regions they control, sometimes directly to the Assad regime.

But in the years they were getting started, a key component of ISIS's support came from wealthy individuals in the Arab Gulf States of Kuwait, Qatar and Saudi Arabia. Sometimes the support came with the tacit nod of approval from those regimes; often, it took advantage of poor money laundering protections in those states, according to officials, experts, and leaders of the Syrian opposition, which is fighting ISIS as well as the regime."

This updated advisory is a follow-up to the updated advisory titled ICSA-14-353-01B Network Time Protocol Vulnerabilities that was published February 4, 2015, on the NCCIC/ICS-CERT web site.

Google Security Team researchers Neel Mehta and Stephen Roettger have coordinated multiple vulnerabilities with CERT/CC concerning the Network Time Protocol (NTP). As NTP is widely used within operational industrial control systems deployments, ICS-CERT is providing this information for US critical infrastructure asset owners and operators for awareness and to identify mitigations for affected devices. ICS-CERT may release updates as additional information becomes available.

These vulnerabilities could be exploited remotely.

Products using NTP service prior to ntp-4.2.8p1 are affected. This is an open source protocol. ….

AUTHENTICATION BYPASS BY SPOOFINGp The IPv6 address ::1 can be spoofed, allowing an attacker to bypass access control lists (ACLs) based on ::1. All NTP4 releases before 4.2.8 are vulnerable. Linux and slightly older Mac OSX kernels are vulnerable, but other tested OSes are not vulnerable to the ::1 spoofing. Proper firewall rulings can mitigate this problem. As this issue may be a kernel issue, rather than NTPD, source-IP based ACLs may be vulnerable as well.

This vulnerability is resolved with NTP-stable4.2.8p1 on February 04, 2014.
