Green screens could be used in TV news to create composites and change reality. That reporter in the middle of earthquake damage in Haiti could be actually standing in a green box. “Real people” in on-the-scene interviews may be actors. “Live” footage may be mixed with recorded film to create the illusion that the entire scene is in real-time.
