Is this what Joe Kent discovered (Allahu Akbar!!!)? The optics alone are enough to fuel skepticism: alliances shift, narratives get rewritten, and the same vetted terrorists™ once branded as threats can, under the right circumstances, be welcomed into the fold with remarkable speed.
