Is your favorite website on this 'Forbidden List'? If so, be warned!
You are either a Russian agent or a Useful Idiot.
The other day I was surprised to see an email in my inbox from Syed, my New Delhi correspondent. He has been writing to me on and off for the last 5-6 years. The news he brought shocked me to the bone and made me roll my eyes in disbelief.
Hi LashaSyed doesn't waste words. He is known for his terseness. I noticed, to my astonishment, that the name of my humble website (darkmoon.me) was now on a List of Forbidden Websites. The link came from Zero Hedge, a well-known dissident site known for its alternative and politically incorrect news items. Zero Hedge was itself on the Forbidden List, along with most of my other favorite websites.

My response to Syed: "Wow! What have I done to deserve this unexpected honor?" I went on to mention a few important websites that had failed to make the List of Forbidden Websites that tell the truth, expressing bewilderment at the absence of Kevin MacDonald's excellent Occidental Observer and Mark Glenn's The Ugly Truth. And why had the sites of such "dangerous" dissidents as Gilad Atzmon and Israel Shamir been excluded from the Hate Speech Hit List?
Before I go any further, please watch this brief introductory video. It will help to clarify the situation vis-à-vis the List of Forbidden Websites.
The Media War Has Begun...What Side Are You On?
From what I gather, the Washington Post started the ball rolling by complaining about “fake news”. This is the misinformation and politically incorrect attitudes projected daily by the New Deplorables of the alternative media. It is the news scrupulously avoided by such trusted organs of mass propaganda as the New York Times, the Washington Post, the Wall Street Journal, Fox News, CNN, the BBC, and the Guardian newspaper.
These aforementioned media outlets, we are given to understand, are bastions of intellectual and moral integrity. They never lie. George W Bush and Tony Blair, who invaded Iraq to punish Saddam Hussein for his non-existent weapons of mass destruction, will be delighted to learn that they were allowed to kill a million innocent people in Iraq and maim millions more, with the full support and complicity of this mainstream media. In the words of John Pilger: "The million dead in Iraq and the flight of 12 million refugees from at least four countries are the consequence" of trusting the New York Times, the BBC, and the other mainstream media mentioned above.
The 200 Forbidden Websites listed below are not only accused of being purveyors of lies and black propaganda, they are also accused of being "Russian agents." They are in the pay of Vladimir Putin. Not necessarily all of them but quite a few. The rest, like the humble Darkmoon site, which wouldn’t know a Russian agent if it saw one, are described as "Useful Idiots."
We Useful Idiots decided to plug the Russian party line because we were too stupid to see through the wiles of the diabolical Vladimir Putin. And what was Putin supposed have done in this particular case that was so abominable? Ah yes, he had helped to fix the American election! With the help of his evil Western agents, all listed below, Putin had succeeded in getting Donald Trump elected as President. With his subtle black propaganda, Putin had destroyed the reputation of one of the finest women in American history—namely, Hillary Clinton. And the 200 websites listed below had been instrumental in bringing these new horrors into the world.
A sad day indeed for democracy.
To quote the Zero Hedge article:
Citing "two teams of independent researchers" who found "Russia's increasingly sophisticated propaganda machinery echoed and amplified right-wing sites across the Internet as they portrayed Clinton as a criminal," the Jeff Bezos-owned website names Drudge, Zero Hedge, and The Ron Paul Institute and countless other outlets among the "useful idiots" that true American patriots should be wary of.Two groups of independent researchers apparently found that Russia employed thousands of botnets, human internet “trolls”, and networks of websites and social media accounts to inject false content into online political talk and amplify posts from right-wing sites. The flood of "fake news" generated by Russian propagandists helped to create and spread "misleading articles online with the goal of punishing Democrat Hillary Clinton, helping Republican Donald Trump, and undermining faith in American democracy."
"The way that this propaganda apparatus supported Trump was equivalent to some massive amount of a media buy," said the executive director of PropOrNot, who spoke on the condition of anonymity with the Post.
"It was like Russia was running a super PAC for Trump's campaign."
So now you know. We dangerous Thought Criminals or Useful Idiots are also accused of trying "to heighten the appearance of international tensions and promote fear of looming hostilities with nuclear-armed Russia." In other words, we are also accused of incitement to violence.
Zero Hedge concludes gloomily:
The report from PropOrNot, provided to the Post, identifies more than 200 websites that routinely pushed Russian propaganda to at least 15 million Americans, and found that false stories pushed on Facebook were viewed more than 213 million times.I have left the most important questions to last, but I cannot answer them adequately here. I leave it to the intelligent reader to figure out the answers. The big questions are these. What do all these 200 Forbidden Websites have in common? What exactly are the dangerous ideas they promote? Who exactly do they perceive as their primary Enemy?
I think the clue lies here: almost every one of these forbidden websites has been accused at one time or another of anti-Semitism. Many, if not most of them, view with secret sympathy the infamous words of the poet TS Eliot:
The rats are underneath the piles,None of these websites sing the praises of George Soros, Benjamin Netanyahu, Barbara Spectre, AIPAC, or the ADL. None of the people running these sites plan to spend Christmas in Tel Aviv. The ideas touted by organized Jewry are, by and large, anathema to us. We do not favor mass immigration and multiculturalism. We do not want to see our countries swamped with illegal immigrants from the Third World (“refugees”) who have no qualms over raping and sexually assaulting our women in vast numbers. We are therefore against the likes of Angela Merkel and the EU who are promoting these toxic policies and whom we perceive as the puppets of international Jewry.
The Jew is underneath the lot.
What else do the Forbidden Websites have in common? We are against Cultural Marxism and the teachings of the Frankfurt School, both primarily Jewish movements. We are against the sexual decadence and sleaze of (((Hollywood))) and deplore the insidious corruption of our children by the (((Masters of Porn))).
Ultimately, we stand for honor, decency, free speech, truth, traditional values. And that’s why we have been so shamelessly demonized.
