1. AD ASSERTS THAT SERCO SET UP A LONG-RANGE U.S. VISA SERVICE IN 1994 SO THAT MENTORED 8(A) COMPANIES could use hotel-based "taxi" services to move out-of-country assassins through crime scenes in the minimum amount of time.

2. AD ASSERTS THAT DAVID CAMERON HAS SET UP A BITCOIN SERVICE FOR THE CARBON DISCLOSURE PROJECT WHERE A WHITE'S CLUB DEATH POOL takes bets on the deaths of useless breathers and pays assassins from a pot – just in time.

3. AD ASSERTS THAT SERCO 8(A) AGENTS HELPED FORMER HP CEO CARLY FIORINA AND ANNA "SEX AND HEDGE" CHAPMAN TO CRASH A SUKHOI SUPER JET 100 in Indonesia on 9 May 2012 and arrange Bitcoin payments to assassins as soon as Cameron's carbon death pool had proof of the times of death of all on board.

"Was Industrial Sabotage at Play with Super Jet crash in Indonesia?
Wayne MADSEN 12.05.2012 07:26
Based on past aggressive competitive commercial tactics employed by the alliance of American corporations, the U.S. Intelligence Community, and the Pentagon, aviation experts in Asia are wondering aloud whether the recent crash of the new Sukhoi Super Jet 100 in Indonesia was the result of high-stakes industrial sabotage engineered to protect Boeing’s lucrative commercial and military aviation market in Asia at the expense of a resurgent Russian aviation industry…

The Sukhoi passenger plane was carrying prospective Indonesian customers, as well as journalists and employees of the Sukhoi company, when it crashed into the summit of Mount Salak, near Jakarta. Of the some 50 passengers and crew, there were no survivors of the crash. A reliable Indonesian journalist has confided that the only copy of the passenger manifest was on board the aircraft when it crashed. Other than the Sukhoi crew and officials on board, there were a number of representatives of Indonesian airlines, as well as local journalists, as well as nationals of France, Italy, and the United States.

After 21 minutes into the demonstration flight, the pilot requested air traffic control permission to drop from 10,000 to 6,000 feet. Although there was light rain, weather conditions were not hazardous. The reason for the pilot's request to descend is not known. Shortly after the plane descended, air traffic control lost contact with the plane. Ground observers reported that the plane appeared "unsteady" before the crash. The plane did not take off from Sukarno-Hatta International Airport but from another local airfield, the Halim Perdanakusuma Airport, which is shared with the Indonesian Air Force's Halim Air Force Base.

Halim is where U.S. Special Forces troops have been training their Indonesian counterparts in various air force tactics, possibly including meaconing, intrusion, jamming, and interference (MIJI) electronic warfare tactics designed to interfere with aircraft navigation systems. Some of the training occurs every year as part of the EXERCISE COPE WEST, sponsored the Commander of the U.S. Pacific Command in Hawaii. Last year's exercise, COPE WEST 10, concentrated on simulated military operations against the Chinese People's Liberation Army Air Force, which uses fighter jets designed and licensed by Sukhoi, including the Sukhoi 27 and Sukhoi 30.

The Sukhoi carried a price tag much lower than its Boeing counterparts, $35 million each, and was Russia's first commercial aircraft offering since the collapse of the Soviet Union. Three new Indonesian airlines, Kartika Airlines, Sky Aviation, and Queen Air, had already placed orders for 48 SuperJets and there were another 170 orders from around the world. The crash of the SuperJet has placed the viability and attractiveness of the aircraft for current and future customers in doubt.

On his last visit to Indonesia, President Obama inked a deal with Indonesia's Lion Air to sell 230 Boeing aircraft with a $22 billion loan guarantee from the U.S. Export-Bank (EX-IM Bank). Obama said the deal to supply Boeing aircraft to Lion Air would create 110,000 U.S. jobs. However, Sukhoi's entrance into the lucrative Indonesian commercial aviation market, which now has a number of competitors to the partly state-owned and safety record-plagued Garuda Indonesian Airlines, represented a threat to Boeing's business in the country and the Boeing deal worked out by Obama.

Lion Air is owned by brothers who are former travel agents, Kusana and Rusdi Kirana. The airline's poor safety record has earned it a ban by the European Union for its poor maintenance record and lack of corporate transparency and some of its pilots have been implicated in drug smuggling. A February 15, 2012 Reuters report concerning the biennial Singapore Air Show, which Rusdi attended, states that very little is known about the Kirana brothers, other than the fact that Kirana is also a former Brother typewriter salesman. The brothers started Lion Air a little over ten years ago.

The Singapore Air Show was attended by Boeing Southeast Asia President Ralph "Skip" Boyce, who was pushing commercial offerings, including the Boeing 787 Dreamliner, the Boeing 737-MAX, and the Boeing 747-8 Intercontinental, as well as military aircraft, such as the KC-135R Stratotanker and the F-15 fighter. Boyce is a former U.S. ambassador to Indonesia and Thailand and Deputy Chief of Mission in Singapore. Boyce was criticized by the opposition in Thailand for opposing the anti-government "Red Shirts" during that nation’s military rule. However, Boyce’s contacts inside Thailand’s government and business establishment enabled him to secure an order for 77 Boeing aircraft by Thai International Airways. Boyce was also criticized by some in the Indonesia press for allegedly covering up details of the 2002 terrorist bombing in Bali that killed a number of Indonesian nationals and foreign tourists.

The entry of Sukhoi into the lucrative Asian market with the lower-cost SuperJet was obviously seen by Boeing as a threat to its business in the region. It also helps Boeing that Obama secured the EX-IM Bank loan guarantee for Lion Air to purchase Boeing aircraft.

In addition, Lion Air's failure to introduce its Initial Public Offerring (IPO) of $1 billion in stock, due to the global financial meltdown has placed the airline in financial jeopardy. Its main competitor, Garuda, has also delayed its stock float, causing a major ripple in the Indonesian aviation market. There is a distinct possibility that without Obama’s loan guarantees on the Boeing deal, Lion Air could have been forced into bankruptcy.

America does not hesitate employing industrial sabotage against its competitors, especially when it comes to Asia.

In unprecedented "car wars" with Japan, the Obama administration did not hesitate to engage in industrial sabotage against Japan through a pre-planned operation directed against the Japanese automobile manufacturer Toyota. In 2010, Obama's Republican Transportation Secretary, Ray LaHood, engaged in a bitter campaign against Toyota over problems with certain accelerator pedals that were not even manufactured by Toyota but by the Indiana-based firm CTS (formerly known as Chicago Telephone Supply).

LaHood kicked off America's anti-Toyota campaign by stating that all Toyota owners should stop driving their vehicles and return them to the dealership for a fix. To the delight of then-financially troubled General Motors and Ford, LaHood painted a wide brush in his comments about Toyotas. The problem affected only a small fraction of Toyota vehicles that had a U.S.-manufactured accelerator pedal. The accelerator issue resulted in a voluntary recall of millions of Toyota vehicles, including the popular Camry and Corolla, by the Japanese auto giant.

LaHood was implementing a White House operation to grab a major portion of Toyota's market share and hand it over the General Motors and Ford. The Obama administration, through its bailout of GM, became a virtual auto company and decided to play economic hardball with Japan, just as it is doing now with Russia on behalf of Boeing.

Obama's predecessors in the White House have not shirked from engaging in industrial espionage to boost America’s market share. In 1995, President Bill Clinton authorized the National Security Agency (NSA) to spy on companies like Toyota and Nissan during U.S. trade negotiations with Tokyo over Japanese luxury car imports to the United States. George H. W. Bush also used NSA to eavesdrop on Indonesia during negotiations between the then-government of President Suharto and Japan's NEC on a major multi-million dollar telecommunications contract. Bush shared the intelligence with AT&T, a competitor of NEC on the Indonesian contract. Under pressure from Washington, Jakarta decided to evenly split the contract between NEC and AT&T.

A former member of the U.S. Congress confided that he was never satisfied with the explanation of the sudden death in February 2010 of his friend and the powerful chairman of the House Defense Appropriations Subcommittee, Representative John Murtha of Pennsylvania, from an infection after routine gall bladder surgery at Bethesda Naval Hospital in Washington, DC. Murtha was an influential player in the award of a $35 billion competition between Boeing and European Aeronautic Defense and Space (EADS) to supply the U.S. Air Force with military versions of either Boeing or Airbus aircraft to serve as in-flight refueling tankers. Murtha was replaced as chairman by Representative Norman Dicks of Washington state, who was known as the “Congressman from Boeing." A year after Murtha's death, Boeing received the Air Force contract.

When it comes to sabotage and espionage, the ability of the United States to go to great lengths, including murder, should never be underestimated. The sordid record speaks for itself."

Bitcoin: 'Assassination Market' website raising the online virtual currency to hire assassins that target key US figures revealed
Those allegedly targeted on the site include Federal Reserve chairman Ben Bernanke, President Obama and NSA director Keith Alexander David Usborne @dusborne Tuesday 19 November 2013 18:27 GMT Bitcoin, the online virtual currency, has long been associated with the dark side of the web. The anonymity it provides has made it a favourite haunt of drug dealers and anyone else looking to sell illicit goods or services.

But even more alarming examples of underworld exploitation of Bitcoin have started to emerge, among them claims made anonymously to a writer for Forbes magazine this week that he is the mastermind behind a website called Assassination Market, which purports to encourage individuals to pay into crowd-sourced funds with Bitcoins that in turn can be used to reward those who murder top government officials.

The idea – assuming it is not a scam merely to dupe gullible followers out of increasingly valuable Bitcoins – is as simple as it is grotesque. The larger the funds grow, the greater the payment to those who successfully rub out federal officials whose actions appear most heinous to the site's users. To receive their bounty, shooters must prove they are behind a successful hit.

So far those allegedly targeted on the site, which runs on the encrypted Tor network which guarantees anonymity, include Federal Reserve chairman Ben Bernanke, President Barack Obama and NSA director Keith Alexander. The largest bounty on offer is for Mr Bernanke's head – 124.14 Bitcoins, roughly $75,000 (£46,500) or more if the value of the currency keeps rising.

Contacted by Forbes writer Andy Greenberg, the creator of Assassination Market identified himself as Kuwabatake Sanjuro and said the purpose was to destroy "all governments, everywhere." He said he conceived of the site after reading news reports of the NSA's spying operations, leaked by Edward Snowden."

In 2011, the SBA, along with the FBI and the IRS, uncovered a massive scheme to defraud this program. Civilian employees of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, working in concert with an employee of Alaska Native Corporation Eyak Technology LLC allegedly submitted fraudulent bills to the program, totaling over 20 million dollars, and kept the money for their own use.[26] It also alleged that the group planned to steer a further 780 million dollars towards their favored contractor.[27]"

"Here's The Real Role Anna Chapman Actually Had At The Hedge Fund Navigator
Courtney Comstock
Jul. 1, 2010, 12:26 PM
So what did accused Russian spy Anna Chapman really do in finance?

Her LinkedIn profile says she worked in i-banking at Barclays, she worked at the hedge fund Navigator, and that she worked at KIT Fortis Investments. And in a video that's shown up, ie here the Mirror, Anna said that she could afford an apartment for herself because she knew how to save from her work an investment banker.

"I was also an investment banker at that time and I knew the business model which would be best."

She's also said that she worked for Warren Buffett (See video below).

So let's see how her claims are panning out in reality so far:

Claim: i-banking at Barclays Reality: Barclays told Dealbreaker that Anna didn't work in i-banking at Barclays, she was in the retail sales division.

Claim: worked at Navigator Reality: she was the personal assistant of Nicholas Camilleri, chief executive of the Mayfair-based hedge fund company Navigator Asset Management Advisers. (Wayne Sharpe, who is CEO of Bartercard, a trading exchange firm told the Guardian that he met Chapman through her work at Navigator.)

Claim: worked for Warren Buffett Reality: we'll see Claim: worked at KIT Fortin Investments Reality: we'll see In conclusion: Not particularly well. But we'll see! More news keeps coming out about this lady."

British PM David Cameron Selects Bitcoin Company for Asian Delegation Share and Get bitcoin The City of London has long been considered the financial hub of Europe, and the inclusion of Bitcoin company, Blockchain, on last weeks trade delegation to South East Asia, suggests the UK Government may be positioning itself to take a similar role in the world of cryptocurrency.

Blockchain may be considered an interesting choice to accompany Prime Minister, David Cameron, on such a visit alongside such British stalwarts as Rolls Royce and Lloyds of London. But trade missions are designed to give a more holistic (yet of course unabashedly positive) view of the potential of British trade partners, indicating that the UK government sees the company as one of the country's bright hopes for the future.

Although the British Government is yet to announce a regulatory framework regarding cryptocurrencies, recent indications have been overwhelmingly positive. Back in February, the Bank of England altered its previous stance on digital currencies, publishing a report espousing many of the benefits of both Bitcoin and blockchain technologies, as reported on CoinTelegraph.

And in his 2015 budget, UK Chancellor George Osborne announced a £10M research fund looking into the opportunities presented by cryptocurrency, whilst at the same time promising any regulation would be designed to "support innovation and prevent criminal use."

Osborne has also made several comments through Twitter and other avenues publicly supporting Bitcoin.

Blockchain has been experiencing impressive growth recently. The London-based company now claims over 4 million users, and a doubling of transactions through its wallets and API in the past six months. So with an announcement on a regulatory framework expected soon, perhaps the inclusion of the company seems a little less esoteric. Blockchain co-founder and CEO, Peter Smith states:

"We've been working pretty closely with Number 10 and the policy makers in the U.K. generally. I think the invitation is a reflection of the positive relationship and the Prime Minister’s dedication to fintech, and especially fintech 2.0."

London's "Silicon Roundabout," situated around Old Street, "just up the road" from the financial district of the city, is already an impressive hub of tech startups. Thus, it would certainly make sense for the UK to consider the benefits of a regulatory framework promoting cross breeding between the two industries.

In addition, London has reportedly over 44,000 people working in the booming fintech sector, more than New York or Silicon Valley.

It seems that with government support, the UK is certainly well-placed to capitulate on this and become a truly global player in the world of cryptocurrency and fintech However, this initiative could be significantly undermined and hurt business if the government's controversial Investigatory Powers Bill is passed. This includes a mandatory requirement for software companies to include cryptographic back-doors, making a mockery of having secure cryptography in the first place, and leading to one prominent company, Eris Industries, already threatening to leave the UK."

"Did Russian spy get close to infiltrating Hillary Clinton's inner circle? FBI warns of 'new breed' of Moscow agents
UPDATED: 20:42 GMT, 1 November 2011
Anna Chapman wasn't just a member of one of the largest rings of Russian sleeper agents ever rolled up by the FBI.

The 29-year-old former real estate agent, who became a lingerie model and corporate spokeswoman back in Moscow, represented a new breed of Russian spies adapted to the post-Cold War world.

While the deep-cover agents didn't steal any secrets, an FBI counter-intelligence official told the AP that the spies were making progress to their ultimate goal. They 'were getting very close to penetrating U.S. policy-making circles' through a friend of a Cabinet official.

SCROLL DOWN FOR VIDEO

FBI representatives did not name names of any Cabinet officials involved, but Russian spy Cynthia Murphy of Montclair, N.J., provided financial planning for venture capitalist Alan Patricof, a political fundraiser with close ties to Bill and Hillary Rodham Clinton.

At the time that the case broke, Secretary of State Clinton's spokesman issued a statement as an attempt to distance Mrs Clinton from the spy ring. 'There is no reason to believe that the Secretary of State was a special target of this spy ring,' her spokesman said.

The group of Russian spies, including Murphy, Chapman and fellow ring member Mikhail Semenko, were all technically skilled and able to work comfortably in a Western culture, doing so using their own names."

"Disowned by Cameron, the raffish men-only club that his father once ran
By HARRY MOUNT FOR THE DAILY MAIL
PUBLISHED: 22:15 GMT, 18 July 2013 | UPDATED: 16:22 GMT, 19 July 2013
As the BBC is embroiled in yet another row over sexism after presenter John Inverdale's poorly judged on air-comments, and MPs scramble in Westminster to condemn male-only establishments - just down the road, at White's in St James's, it is very much business as usual. The exclusive membership only establishment - the 'original 'old boy's club' - is the grandest, oldest and most notoriously difficult to gain entrance to. Once, every Prime Minister from Robert Walpole in the early 18th century to Robert Peel in the mid-19th was a member, and the club boasts a bar which 'has not shut for 200 years'. But White's - to which only one woman, the Queen, has ever been allowed entrance - was quietly disowned by David Cameron in 2008, despite his father Ian once being chairman. The Prime Minister is said to be the only member to have left of his own free will.

Here, HARRY MOUNT takes a look at the history of Britain's most notorious male only club - where rakes, rogues and royals have drunk side by side.

The Culture Secretary Maria Miller would, it's safe to say, disapprove of White's, the grandest, oldest, raciest gentlemen’s club in London. But, then again, she's unlikely to be invited to visit. The only woman who’s ever been entertained there is Her Majesty the Queen.

All-male clubs have been the subject of Mrs Miller’s ire this week as she attacked the men-only policy of Muirfield, which is hosting golf's Open Championship. Yesterday, the Prime Minister gave her his full support. A spokesman for David Cameron condemned such all-male clubs as looking 'more to the past than they do to the future'. But Mr Cameron was not always so high-minded.

Until fairly recently he was a member of the notorious White's club, just up the road from St James's Palace. Indeed his late father, Ian, was its chairman. But the future Prime Minister tactically resigned when Leader of the Opposition because the all-male club didn't fit with his vision of modern Conservatism.

It is said that he is the only member to have left of his own free will – and not by death or shameful forced resignation.

The club was founded in 1693 as a hot-chocolate house by an Italian, Francesco Bianco, whose name translated into Francis White – and thus White's. It soon graduated to more intoxicating practices, notably heavy drinking and gambling.

For centuries, it has taken pride in its reputation as the hardest of the London gentleman’s clubs to get into.

The Victorian Prime Minister, Benjamin Disraeli, said there were only two things that an Englishman cannot command – being made a Knight of the Garter or a member of White's."

"Cantor Fitzgerald/CO2e.com/eSpeed held the patent on software which would later be used in trillions of dollars' worth of carbon emissions trading. The Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP), "a special project of Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisers, with US IRS 501(c)(3) charitable status, with the [alleged] sole purpose of providing a co-ordinating secretariat for the participating funders and investors, in order to increase economic global awareness of risks and opportunities of carbon emissions' consequences on the climate", was launched on December 4, 2000 at 10 Downing Street in London by UK Prime Minister Tony Blair and UK Secretary of State for International Development Clare Short. The CDP "gathers 534 investors with a combined US$64 trillion in assets under management, in order to increase economic global awareness of risks and opportunities of carbon emissions' [alleged] consequences on the climate".

"The SAS was the brain child of Lieutenant Archibald David Stirling, Initially the unit was known as 'L' Detachment, SAS Brigade, (so named from August 24, 1941) Stirling often credited Jock Lewes and Paddy Blair Mayne as co-founders of the unit. Initially the unit was going to be a parachute unit, which would be dropped behind enemy lines, blow up airfields, and then rendezvous with the LRDG and be brought back to friendly lines.

After a dismal failure with the first air drop, Stirling discussed the idea of LRDG providing "taxi" service to and from enemy targets. The LRDG agreed but eventually this became an undue stress for the LRDG as they still had their other duties to do. Eventually the SAS acquired their own vehicles and were taught the necessary desert navigational skills by the LRDG. Unlike the LRDG, the SAS did little reconnaissance work and no surveying work, concentrating principally on destruction of enemy airfields.

At times, the SAS and the LRDG were at odds with each other. This was especially the case when the SAS conducted raids in areas where the LRDG were conducting road watches or other intelligence gathering missions. On more than one occasion, the LRDG had missions compromised and lives lost because the SAS performed a raid in an area off limits to direct action. For the most part, however, the units complimented each other.

After the Desert War ended, the SAS continued work in Italy and later Northern France, often performing duties as a motorized airborne/commando force. The unit was disbanded after the war but quickly reconstituted in 1947."

"GOP Candidate Carly Fiorina [Cara Carleton Sneed] Pathological Liar And Protegée Of NSA And CIA Boss Michael Hayden
by United Front Against Austerity | Tax Wall Street Party GOP Candidate Carly Fiorina Born Cara Carleton Sneed Unmasked as Top Spook, Pathological Liar and Protegée of NSA and CIA Boss Michael Hayden; Carly Holds Top Secret Security Clearance; Downsizing and Runaway Shop Queen Attended Posh London Private School; Father Was Elitist Dean of Duke University Law School and Federal Appellate Judge; Claim She Started as Secretary Is a Tissue of Lies; Her Candidacy Raises Issue of Intelligence Community Asset in the White House Carly Fiorina, whose birth name is Cara Carleton Sneed, claims that she started as a secretary and heroically rose to become a CEO of Hewlett Packard.

Republican candidates seeking to dupe their gullible supporters and mask their dubious personal backgrounds often tout this typical Horatio Alger rags-to-riches story. Carly Fiorina is no exception to this pattern however her personality is saturated with this lie and many others as well as exhibiting signs of insanity that only comes from being attached at the hip to the intelligence establishment.

Fiorina's father was Joseph Tyree Sneed, III who would become the dean of Duke University School of Law, a Deputy Attorney General, and a judge on the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. Readers are reminded that the only judicial level higher than the circuit appellate court is the Supreme Court; this would make Carly's father an incredibly influential and well-connected individual. Carly went to the posh all-girls Channing School in London and then to Stanford University. It is likely that Carly's story of starting as a humble secretary came as a result of her father pressuring her to taking up a job with Kelly Girls, which she did during the summer as a student at Stanford. After dropping out of law school at UCLA and she moved on to business school and then to her well publicized career as an asset stripper and wrecker of companies like Lucent and Hewlett-Packard.

It was allegedly only after the board of directors at Hewlett-Packard fired her that Carly came into the orbit of the intelligence community, but some are skeptical. She had previously provided services for the Pentagon through an unpaid position on the Defense Business Board. But her breakthrough came when she was picked by the infamous war criminal Michael Hayden to lead the CIA’s External Advisory Board. The National Review reported:

"Hayden called up the CEO of Hewlett Packard, Carly Fiorina. 'HP made precisely the equipment we needed, and we needed in bulk,' says Robert Deitz, who was general counsel at the NSA from 1998 to 2006. Deitz recalls that a tractor-trailer full of HP servers and other equipment was on the Washington, D.C. Beltway, en route to retailers, at the very moment Hayden called. Fiorina instructed her team to postpone the retailer delivery and have the driver stop. An NSA police car met up with the tractor-trailer and the truck proceeded, with an armed escort, to NSA headquarters in Fort Meade, Maryland. It was an early moment in the close professional relationship between Hayden and Fiorina. Five years later, President George W. Bush named Hayden director of the Central Intelligence Agency. Upon assuming control at Langley, Hayden decided that he wanted to create an 'External Advisory Board.' He once again turned to Fiorina, and she went on to chair that board."[1]

The National Review article goes on to detail how Carly was a consistent presence in at Langley and worked on "assembling recommendations for national-security policy and developing a close working relationship with some of the most powerful officials in the administration."

Robert Deitz, the source for much of the Review's commentary on Fiorina, is now a loyal supporter of her campaign. He also told the Review that Fiorina had "more or less" the highest level of security clearance. Fiorina sat on a panel during her tenure at the CIA that was faced with the question of whether foreign intelligence had a future in the country; her panel’s answer is classified but Dietz reported that it was “unclear” whether the intelligence community would require major adjustments to continue its foreign intelligence operations.

As President, Carly would make the Nixon and Bush 43 administrations look like the ACLU. Her sponsor, Michael Hayden, was the head of the NSA and then the CIA, and was for a time the highest ranking US military officer. He is a totalitarian bureaucrat, once telling reporters that probable cause for search warrants was not a part of the Fourth Amendment’s prohibition of unreasonable searches and seizures. He was up to his neck in NSA wiretaps and snooping, including the abortive Project Trailblazer, which was widely criticized and shut down. Fiorina would shred what is left of civil liberties."

"HP broadened our definition of a minority business in 2009. The main category of businesses our supplier diversity program supports are minority-owned, woman-owned, veteran-owned and small businesses. For the first time, we have included lesbian, bisexual, gay and transgender-owned (LBGT-owned) businesses in the definition. Through our new sponsorship of, and collaboration with, the National Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce (NGLCC), we will maintain a pipeline of potential LBGT-owned suppliers. In 2009, we also increased our sponsorship of women-owned businesses."

"A dead pool, also known as a death pool, is a game of prediction which involves guessing when someone will die. Sometimes it is a bet where money is involved.[1] The combination of dead or death, and betting pool, refers to such a gambling arrangement.[clarification needed] …

In the early 20th century, death pools were popular in dangerous sports such as motorsport, for example the first edition of the Indianapolis 500.[2] Variants[edit] A typical modern dead pool might have players pick out celebrities who they think will die within the year. Most games start on January 1, and run for 12 months although there are some variations on game length and timing.[citation needed]

In 2000, website Fucked Company claimed to be a "dot-com dead pool" which invited users to predict the next Internet startups to fail during that era's dot com bust.[3] The site itself folded in 2007 after a long history as a target for strategic lawsuits against public participation by companies.[4]"
