Obama’s statement Russia fails to co-operate with Boeing crash probe bewildering DUSHANBE, July 31. /ITAR-TASS/. The foreign ministers of the Shanghai Co-operation Organisation (SCO) on Thursday called for an open and independent investigation into the MH-17 crash.
Malaysia Airlines Flight 17 (MH17/MAS17) was a scheduled international passenger flight from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur that was shot down on 17 July 2014, killing all 283 passengers and 15 crew on board.
“The ministers stressed the need for an open, unbiased, independent investigation and comprehensive co-operation within the efforts to establish the causes of the tragedy, as it is provided for by UN Security Council Resolution 2166,” says a release on the results of the Dushanbe meeting of the SCO Council of Foreign Ministers.
“The delegation heads expressed deep condolences to the family members and dear ones of the people killed in the passenger airliner crash over Ukrainian territory on July 17,” the release says.”

There was an unexplained change of course of the Malaysian MH17 flight which took the aircraft directly over the Eastern Ukraine war zone.
The Spanish air controller confirms a conflict between the Ministry of Defense and the Ministry of the Interior intimating that the order concerning the downing of the aircraft came from the Ministry of the Interior, which is dominated by Svoboda and Right Sector. He also said that the MH17 flight was escorted by Ukrainian fighter jets minutes before it was downed. It is worth noting that the presence of the Ukraine fighter jets reported by the Spanish air traffic controller was confirmed by eyewitness reports in the Donetsk region: “eyewitnesses in the Donetsk region saw Ukrainian warplanes near the passenger jet.
