BROKEN PROMISES - Vietnam War veteran Dave Hancock protests at the White House on December 16. More than 60 percent of the American people are opposed to the Afghan War, according to a recent Washington Post poll. The Obama administration, elected on the promise to withdraw U.S. troops by July 2011, now says the U.S. will maintain combat troops in Afghanistan until December 2014. On December 17, the House passed a defense authorization bill (by a 341-48 vote) that authorizes the Pentagon to spend nearly $160 billion on the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan in 2011 without major restrictions on the conduct of operations. Why are U.S. (and NATO) troops being kept in Afghanistan for another 4 years? What's really going on there?
As I have reported since shortly after 9/11, the real reason for the U.S. invasion and occupation of Afghanistan is to build and secure a 1,080-mile long gas pipeline designed to carry trillions of dollars of Israeli-owned gas from Turkmenistan to Pakistan and India. In a 2009 article entitled "Why Afghanistan" I wrote about the role of Israeli intelligence in the TAPI gas pipeline project and its connection to 9/11:
Following the break-up of the Soviet Union, Israeli agents sought to gain control of the strategic assets of the newly independent Soviet republics. In mineral-rich Turkmenistan, a Mossad agent named Yosef A. Maiman was very successful in gaining control of the republic's immense resources of natural gas.
Yosef Maiman, born in Germany in 1946, grew up in Peru and studied in the United States before becoming an Israeli citizen in 1971. As an agent of Israeli intelligence, Maiman heads a network of Mossad-controlled companies that serve Israeli interests. As the chief executive of the Merhav Group, Maiman has controlled the development of Turmenistan's gas resources. Maiman's key colleagues at Merhav are the former head of the Mossad, Shabtai Shavit, and Nimrod Novik, chief adviser to Shimon Peres, the current president of Israel.
Maiman was described as "a leading miner" of Central Asian gas fields by the Jerusalem Post in 2004. Given their control of the immense gas resources of Turkmenistan, Maiman, Merhav, and the Mossad would all profit if and when the U.S.-led coalition were able to "pacify" and control Afghanistan so that the Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India (TAPI) gas pipeline could be built allowing the gas of Turkmenistan to be sold to energy-hungry India. The TAPI pipeline project would bring billions of dollars into Mossad coffers every year. This is the real reason for the war in Afghanistan and why the Zionist-controlled Obama administration has increased the war effort in Central Asia. It has nothing to do with terrorism or 9-11.The false-flag terror attacks of 9/11 were part of a strategic Israeli operation to bring the U.S. military into Afghanistan on a long-term mission on behalf of Israel’s Turkmenistan gas enterprise. The Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India (TAPI) pipeline is the real reason that U.S. soldiers are fighting and dying in the southwestern Afghan provinces of Helmand and Kandahar. 9/11 was just the cover story for this pre-planned war of aggression - and it is nothing but a complete hoax.
The TAPI pipeline is planned to be built along the Herat-Kandahar highway across western and southern Afghanistan.

According to a recent audit, the gas reserves of the fields (largely controlled by Mossad’s Yosef Maiman and the Merhav Group) stand at between 4 and 14 trillion cubic metres. Under the pipeline framework agreement, Pakistan and India will each receive 1,325 million cubic feet per day (mmcfd) of gas, while Afghanistan will receive 500 mmcfd. According to the deal, the pipeline will have a diameter of 56 inches and will stretch over a distance of 1,640 kilometres from Turkmenistan to Fazilka in India. The pipeline is expected to commence gas flow by 2015. “The Afghanistan government has guaranteed that it will deploy at least 5,000 troops for the protection of the pipeline within its territory,” said Naveed Qamar, Pakistan's Federal Minister for Petroleum and Natural Resources.
On December 11, a preliminary agreement was signed in Turkmenistan’s capital, Ashgabat, by representatives of the four countries to proceed with plans for the American and Israeli-backed pipeline. Here are the basic points about the TAPI pipeline:
Construction of pipeline will be completed by 2014 (note this is the new end-date given for the U.S. military mission in Afghanistan, but don't believe it)
1,680 kilometer gas pipeline will supply 3.2 billion cubic feet of natural gas per day (much of this gas will come from Israeli/Mossad-owned gas fields in Turkmenistan, meaning immense profits for the Mossadniks who pulled off 9/11)

U.S. GANGSTER DIPLOMACY - U.S. Deputy Secretary of State Richard Armitage threatened to bomb Pakistan "back to the stone age" unless it joined the fight against al-Qaeda. General Musharraf said that Armitage delivered the threat to Pakistan's intelligence director. "The intelligence director told me that Mr Armitage said, 'Be prepared to be bombed. Be prepared to go back to the Stone Age'," Pakistan's President Pervez Musharraf said. Pakistan’s balkanization is just as much about keeping rivals out as it is about securing the best perch in the playground. The Iran-Pakistan Friendship pipeline (IP) in the works (formerly the Iran-Pakistan-India pipeline before the US weaned away India with its nuclear fuel deal) is planning its route through Balochistan. While Pakistan can occasionally make such inconvenient deals with a neighbor that Israel and the US are determined to exterminate, the groomed Balochi tribes would follow more the acceptable Karzai pattern of subservient obedience. The U.S. is being isolated by the BRICS (Brazil; Russia; India; China; South Africa) nations, while Russia is defending its Heartland: two superpowers are competing for natural gas extraction and pipeline construction mega-projects in the Levant region. The Anglo-American proxy states of Qatar and Saudi Arabia are financing thousands of fanatical Islamic Jihadis who are currently wrecking Syria but are themselves being destroyed by a formidable Syrian Arab Army (SAA) and their NDF (National Defense Force).
Gas pipeline construction was intended on going through the Syrian cities of Damascus, Homs, and Aleppo and the Russians through Gazprom will not walk away from their gas projects in Syria and risk losing lucrative control over the region's natural gas resources along with the resources in the Caspian Basin especially in Turkmenistan. Richard Armitage mentioned above in Christopher Bollyn's article, has connections to all this going back at least ten years. Armitage along with Walter B. Slocombe write in their policy paper (PDF file) that: "...the most important connection between Israel and U.S. economic interests is natural gas."
Here is Richard Armitage's other well know quote allegedly told to the Taliban (Taliban were outsiders apparently and brought into Afghanistan by the CIA - the Taliban being a force manufactured in Pakistan by the ISI with support from the CIA) leadership of Afghanistan just months before American B52 bombers started pulverizing Afghanistan along the intended path where gas pipelines are going to be built competing with Russia's Gazprom: "You can take the offer either with a carpet of Gold or a Carpet of Bombs." Call it "construction on the cheap." If the American military-industrial complex, in thrall to "U.S. Gangster Diplomacy"wants Syria bombed, the gangsters will more than likely get their way. All the American military bases have been injected into Afghanistan along side natural gas pipeline construction projects, while the Afghan opium trade fuels further obscene profits.
Here is another interesting connection. The co-author of the paper (linked below the next image) is Robert D. Blackwill. Robert D. Blackwill and Richard Holbrooke work for Kissinger & Associates (See Dean Henderson's The International: Oil, Drugs, Guns & Kissinger Associates, February 19, 2014). Let's just call them the "gas men" for short - or resource monopolists.

Question: How many folks had already heard of the Merhav Group – mentioned by Christopher Bollyn in his above article that first appeared in December, 2010? Let's go to the country of Turkmenistan for a minute. The Israel-based company the Merhav Group has many production and pipeline construction contracts for natural gas in Turkmenistan, for which Yosef A. Maiman has been the catalyst.
The fourth largest producer of natural gas in the world is Turkmenistan. It should also be understood that Russia's Gazprom also has large natural gas production contracts in Turkmenistan in the region of Ashgabat on the Caspian Sea.
Turkmenistan (Turkmen: Türkmenistan), formerly also known as Turkmenia (Russian: Туркмения), is one of the Turkic states in Central Asia. Until 1991, it was a constituent republic of the Soviet Union, the Turkmen Soviet Socialist Republic (Turkmen SSR). Turkmenistan is one of the six independent Turkic states. It is bordered by Afghanistan to the southeast, Iran to the south and southwest, Uzbekistan to the east and northeast, Kazakhstan to the north and northwest and the Caspian Sea to the west.The Merhav Group has been involved in Turkmenistan's natural gas industry for years and as a consequence there are some very strange bedfellows that are being made that nobody would suspect. While this proxy war on Syria has most of our attention including Turkey's involvement in allowing their country to be a staging area for Jihadis moving through the region into Syria, the Merhav Group had a $100 million dollar project with Turkey related to natural gas production. Another strange bedfellow is PetroSaudi International Ltd founded in 2005 by Tarek Essam Ahmad Obaid and is incorporated in the British Virgin Islands.
PetroSaudi International Ltd is a privately owned oil exploration and production company with offices in Saudi Arabia, Britain, and Switzerland. Tarek Essam Ahmad Obaid is located in London. PetroSaudi International Ltd is owned apparently by the son of King Abdallah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud which could not be confirmed. The Merhav Group is run by former Mossad intelligence officer Yosef Maiman. The Arab kingdom and Israel working closely together in gas and oil exploration does certainly raise an eyebrow? PetroSaudi International Ltd and the Merhav Group have "negotiated a partnership through intermediaries" to explore the Serdar field that straddles the border between Turkmenistan and oil-rich Azerbaijan.
The accounting firm KPMG does the auditing for PetroSaudi revealed in an article on a debt bond issue involving 1Malaysia Development Bhd (1MDB), a Malaysian company and PetroSaudi to finance a venture. PetroSaudi was in an oil and gas exploration venture with 1MDB and this Malaysian company has subsequently been accused of being a "giant ponzi scheme" involving RM6 billion in a deal in which 1MDB was financing through bonds PetroSaudi.

Cassidy & Associates took in over US$30 million in 2001 at the time of the attack on September 11, 2001 when the war on Iraq and Afghanistan were in their final planning stages.

It's a classic case of calm before the storm. An immense desert comprising almost 48% of Pakistan's area, rich in uranium and copper, potentially very rich in oil, and producing more than one-third of Pakistan's natural gas, it accounts for less than 4% of Pakistan's 173 million citizens. Balochs are the majority, followed by Pashtuns. Quetta, the provincial capital, is considered Taliban Central by the Pentagon, which for all its high-tech wizardry mysteriously has not been able to locate Quetta resident "The Shadow", historic Taliban emir Mullah Omar himself.Yosef A. There is much more of Yosef A. Maiman's history who is alleged to be an ex-Mossad asset as previously mentioned. What people often do not realize is that the Mossad operates just like any other intelligence agency within the organizations of corporations like the Merhav Group and work as engineers, scientists, computer programers and gas and oil engineers. He was born in Germany and moved to South America (Peru). Later, he left for the United States where he was educated and then later became an Israeli citizen. Yosef A. Maiman has close ties to the powerful political action group AIPAC.
Qatar is floating in LNG (Liquid Natural Gas). It has over 77 billion tons in reserve and that is with a moratorium in place. Natural gas is cheap, it's the construction projects which is where the real money is. The problem is that Qatar desperately wants to sell its LNG to the EU and the hot Mediterranean markets. Russia's Gazprom seems to have that market all sewn up. Qatar has sunk $3 billion dollars into financing the foreign Islamic Jihadis to destroy Syria. Not bring in an opposition government to see reform take place in Syria. It's about destruction of the existential type. We are seeing the different "groups" in Syria aligned with Qatar and Saudi Arabia (Wahhabi Islamic lunatics launched out of Saudi Arabia) and now Iraq that have started attacking each other in Syria for control of supply chains and control over their assertions about building a Caliphate in the region.
The thousands of foreign Jihadis motivated by a monthly mercenary payment and a chance to build their version of a Caliphate in the region of the Levant probably don't have a clue in the world they are canon fodder and the complexities involved in these enormous construction projects revolving around natural gas production and pipeline development. Many also are motivated by Islam which has been weaponized sending them into Syria from an astounding number of countries because of reports they have heard through the media or their local mosques how the "Syrian regime" is "trotting and killing their fellow Islamic brothers and sisters." As Allah demands them they must then head to Syria on the Jihad quest in the name of "justice" and "righteousness."
The road to Damascus will come through AIPAC and their think tanks as well as their intimidation of congressmen for a bombing run and cruise missile strike over Syria. When they cut loose with cruise missiles watch three cities get pulverized: Damascus, Homs and Aleppo. One big problem though is that Russia will not allow the Anglo-Americans to manipulate an Islamic Jihadi proxy war through Russia's southern borders including in Syria and that is probably why Russia drew the line in Georgia a few years ago.
The objective of these pipeline construction projects was to build a pipeline from Turkmenistan through Azerbaijan, through Georgia and into to Turkey onto the destined Euro-Mediterranean markets. All the while bypassing Russia and allowing the European Economic Community to be free of Russian natural gas and Russia's Gazprom. Germany has been observed to be very nervous about all this and may be why it has been reported Germany planned to sell an estimated 200 German-built Leopard II tanks to Saudi Arabia (details on the number of tanks were not released). Russia's Vladimir Putin was in Saudi Arabia recently and Prince Bandar attempted bribing Vladimir Putin with $15 billion in weapon purchases. Incidentally, Prince Bandar has recently been released from his position as intelligence chief for Saudi Arabia.
The Saudis refused a pipeline across their country so they cut a deal with the U.S. Vladimir Putin apparently knew that and subsequently refused the deal. Well worth listening to if nothing else is known about the circumstances going on in that part of the world including this international criminal conspiracy and proxy war against Syria.
Syria's problem: they discovered huge natural gas deposits off their coast in the Levant including discoveries by the Israelis of natural gas deposits off the coast of Lebanon and Israel. If the Palestinians attempt making claims to natural gas deposits off the coast of Gaza they will be sabotaged at every juncture like they already have been.

This is perhaps why terrorism must be stroked geo-politically into existence then deliberately fueled. To distract everyone's attention. This explains why what is happening in Syria is so complicated; because there are private corporate energy interests all vying for power placing governments at each other's throats by using foreign proxies to do their killing for them in Syria all under cover of an elaborate nurtured into existence organization called "Al Qaeda" and using the pretext of a "war on terrorism."

The South Stream Pipeline
The South Stream pipeline is a gas pipeline to transport Russian natural gas through the Black Sea to Bulgaria and further to Greece, Italy and Austria. The project is seen as rival to the planned Nabucco pipeline. Construction started in December 2012, with the first commercial deliveries expected to begin in late 2015.
Nabucco pipeline
The Nabucco pipeline was a proposed natural gas pipeline from the Turkish-Bulgarian border to Austria. It is a modification of the original Nabucco Pipeline project, which was to run from Erzurum in Turkey to Baumgarten an der March in Austria. The aim of the Nabucco pipeline is to diversify the natural gas suppliers and delivery routes for Europe, thus reducing European dependence on Russian energy (Gazprom).

Arab Gas Pipeline (straight though Syria)
The Arab Gas Pipeline is a natural gas pipeline in the Middle East. It exports Egyptian natural gas to Jordan, Syria, and Lebanon, with a branch underwater pipeline to Israel. It has a total length of 1,200 kilometres (750 mi) at a cost of US$1.2 billion.
And finally, everyone missed this one or they don't understand the significance. The king of Qatar's own personal quest to become the "King of Gas" (flatulence) through the Dolphin pipeline in the region and why he is apparently partially financing the essentially foreign Islamic fanatical Jihadi mercenaries rampaging through Syria from an alleged more than 29 different countries who are paid a monthly salary to kill Syrians and destroy the country of Syria. "King Fatso" as he is called, has apparently sunk an estimated to date $3 billon into the till to destroy Syria.
