This Is a Disgrace - "Gobshite" Guaidó - The Empire In Pursuit of Markets

Ed.'s note: Listening to President Trump was like listening to a declaration of war on Venezuela. War is in the makings with Venezuela. Probably a hybrid-type of war to destroy Venezuela's economy and then if that doesn't work, PMCs will be brought in to start assassinating and killing Venezuelans to bring pressure on the President of Venezuela Nicolás Maduro. President Trump accuses Venezuela's President Nicolás Maduro of being a "socialist dictator" further declaring Nicolás Maduro is an "illegitimate ruler," a "tyrant who brutalizes his people," and that "his grip on tyranny will be smashed." Trump then announces to members of the US congress and senate, Juan Guaidó (self-appointed "interim president") is in the gallery of the US Congress. They all stand up and give Guaidó a standing ovation. In the US congress?! Ever get the feeling Trump knows exactly what is going on and is continuing on with the charade to make Americans feel strong and good about themselves? The US is using Venezuela against the development of Eurasian integration led by Russia and China. At some point a shooting war is inevitable as China monopolizes strategic rare earth metals the US requires to keep its technology running especially in the military.

Never mind Guaidó's uncle was arrested basically for terrorism smuggling explosives and for intimidation. Why not give Guaidó a standing ovation for that one, US congress and senate? Then what does Senator Chucky Schumer announce? "Trump's failure to oust President Maduro." The Irish are certainly onto Guaidó, so why aren't these lackey politicians in the senate and congress? What they are really standing and clapping for is the very real potential for war with Venezuela.

How apropos. Guaidó gets a standing ovation in a disgraceful US House of Congress under Trump and then when Guaidó boy gets to Venezuela, he is confronted by an angry woman then he is given a water-dousing welcome. Get lost Guaidó, the Venezuelans don't want you in their country you squatter. Everyone else in the world recognizes Guaidó is not wanted in Venezuela and is illegitimate in his presidential claims based on fraud. His wealthy Venezuelan sponsors hiding out in Florida would know all about that though wouldn't they?

Then we come to the real issue between the US and Venezuela which isn't all the hyperbole President Trump unloaded on President Maduro. Listen to Trump again in the above BBC clip. It's like listening to a gangster capitalist syndicate godfather. Lose control of Venezuela's oil and the US oligarchs represented by Trump lose control of the US dollar with Steve Mnuchin at the US Treasury. No negotiating with the empire. It's either submit or the empire will destroy your country, first with crippling sanctions that hurt the Venezuelan people. Then if that doesn't work, a hybrid war of progressive violence. And the Venezuelans are all too familiar with the fact that if you go against the empire domiciled in Washington DC, the CIA's dogs of war will likely target you for assassination like they did to Venezuelan attorney Danilo Anderson. The big difference between the US and Venezuela on socialism: Oil revenue in Venezuela benefits the Venezuelan people; oil revenue in the US benefits the oil cartels.

Venezuelans Rally In Caracas To Support Maduro

CARACAS – Thousands of people in the Venezuelan capital of Caracas held a rally in support of President Nicolas Maduro, who urged people to defend their homeland by all means, as the South American nation suffers from a year-long political turmoil incited by US-backed opposition figure Juan Guaido.

Demonstrators celebrated the Youth Day on Wednesday, on a date which commemorates all the young people who fought and lost their lives in the Battle of la Victoria in 1814, during the country's war of independence against the Spanish Empire, PressTV reported.

"The marchers rallied toward the Miraflores Palace and gathered in front of a stage on which Maduro urged his young supporters to defend the homeland with weapons in hand if necessary".

Guaido is considered responsible for causing a political crisis in Venezuela when he unilaterally declared himself "interim president" of the country in January last year, rejecting the outcome of the May 2018 election, which Maduro had won. Guaido also later launched an abortive coup against the elected government.

Guaido's self-proclamation as president and his coup received full support from Washington. Caracas has said election results must be respected, but has applied lenience and has refrained from arresting Guaido over the coup. The US has imposed several rounds of sanctions against the oil-rich South American country aimed at ousting Maduro and replacing him with Guaido.
