NO ONE, including Trump, can contain the rise of China

US President Donald Trump has said that China will not be a "superpower" with him in power. Will the American leader be able to contain the development of the Asian giant and what will happen when he is no longer president of the United States? In this connection, the Chinese expert believes that no one is capable of accomplishing this task.

Earlier, Trump said in an interview with Fox News that he was very pleased with the trade dispute between Washington and Beijing and that although China wants to be the world's biggest superpower, it will not happen under his presidency.

He has signed a decree introducing a state of emergency to protect the US information and communication infrastructure from foreign threats. In turn, the US Department of Commerce placed Huawei on the black list of activities contrary to national security. US manufacturers selling equipment to Huawei will now need special license from the US authorities.

Then some of Huawei's biggest suppliers, including Intel, Qualcomm, Xilinx and Broadcom, have announced that they are stopping the supply of critical software and components to the Chinese company. In addition, Google has also said it suspends business contacts with Huawei.

Professor at the Institute of International Relations at the Chinese University of Mass Communications, Yang Mian, indicated that with all these actions, Trump is apparently trying to eliminate a strong competitor of American technology companies. However, this could hurt the US partners of Huawei, which bought $11 billion worth of components last year.

Thus, Trump may fail to fulfill the promises of the election campaign, that is, to "make America great again". After all, a trade war can turn into an economic shock for all market participants.

Will the recent attempt to outright kill Huawei work?

Never mind the fact that it was only done because Huawei was not complying with demands to put NSA back doors in their products . . . . What will happen?

Here is the reality: Huawei was a sparkling gem of a company making top tier products, that was not in debt, has brilliant engineers, and probable backing of the Chinese government. Being denied all rights to use Android would be survivable, because the Chinese have already released their own viable operating systems and Linux is open source. They won't be without an OS, they could scrape something up quick. The bigger obstacle is not being allowed to use ARM tech. But I am having my doubts about this actually being an obstacle after their own design enhancements produced the most powerful ARM based chip to date. They are not stupid.

Only time will tell, and we'll know in six months if Huawei is dead or not. It is a safe bet that Huawei was shut down only because the Mate 20 pro was so awesome and the subsequent models even more awesome, blowing away everything else from Apple, Samsung, and more. Huawei HAD TO be killed before they took the phone market away from the NSA. They were poised to do it. We will wait and see what happens with this.

IF I WAS CHINA: I would immediately stop all manufacture of all ARM processors for ALL vendors and not only ban Apple, I'd kick their manufacturing out also, along with Nike and everyone else. This is obviously war, and if China struck back like that, they'd instantly bankrupt MAJOR top tier American corporations and would probably even destroy Samsung. They could do it with ease. In my opinion, they would be stupid not to.

Then divert all those seized assets over to the war department and prepare, prepare, prepare. I must admit I am irked by the audacity of it all, where if you don't comply with U.S. wishes and instead work a few backdoors out of that ARM architecture you are TOAST. I side with Huawei on this one. I hope they win by introducing a new processor and OS that ousts both Android AND the NSA. If any company could, they'd be the one.

China and the US had better watch out. As eastern Russian regions like Bashkortostan become more developed and populated, Russia has the potential to exploit the full power-building potential of the Eurasian heartland. MacKinder knew: He who controls the heartland can control the Earth.

A power based in the heartland that succeeds in bringing it under cultivation and linking it by road and rail would be an unstoppable geopolitical force.

Last year, passenger traffic increased by 8% and exceeded 3 million passengers. Freight traffic is also increasing. As the republic is at the border between Europe and Asia, transit is very high not only by air. There's access to five seas, two federal highways, and the Trans-Siberian Railway. On

e shouldn't think that they only reap the benefits of economic flows here. Exports account for about 90% of the turnover. Let's have a look at Bashkiria's goods. Last year, the gross regional product was almost 1.5 trillion rubles ($24 billion). It's increased, although by 1%, but it's still increased. Foreign trade has increased by 6.5%. For the first time in 25 years, unemployment is under 5%.
