Tulsi Gabbard Speaks the Truth on Syria, Gets Smeared by the Mainstream Media

January 29, 2017

US mainstream media outlets, pundits and officials have pulled out all the stops in attempting to smear Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard, who traveled to Syria earlier this month and then had the courage to criticize the US's policy of funding and arming terrorists affiliated with al-Qaeda on national television.

Gabbard, a Bernie Sanders supporter who resigned from her position as vice-chair of the Democratic National Committee to support the anti-war candidate last February, traveled to Syria on a fact-finding mission earlier this month, where she had an unexpected meeting with Syrian President Bashar Assad.

A combat veteran with two tours of duty in Iraq under her belt, Gabbard has been outspoken among US politicians in pushing for peace in Syria. Shortly after Trump's election, Gabbard surprised pundits and many members of her own party by meeting with the President-elect to discuss Syria and the fight against Daesh.

On Wednesday, Gabbard spoke to CNN's Jake Tapper, and defended her decision to go to Syria and to meet with the Syrian President. "If we profess to truly care about the Syrian people, about their suffering, then we've got to be able to meet with anyone that we need to if there's a possibility that we could achieve peace," she said.

After Tapper interjected to blame Assad for the violence, and accused Gabbard of "giving [the Syrian President] enhanced credibility" by meeting with him, the Congresswoman responded by stressing that "whatever you think about President Assad, the fact is that he is the President of Syria. In order for any peace agreement, in order for any possibility of a viable peace agreement to occur, there has to be a conversation with him."

Gabbard stressed that it should be up to Syrians to determine Assad's fate, "what happens with their government and their future."
What followed was a debate between Gabbard and Tapper, who called Assad a 'butcher' and said that there was no democracy to speak of in Syria. Gabbard, who documented her conversations with ordinary Syrians during the fact-finding trip, said that she had heard something very different from what the mainstream media narrative is pushing.

________

The CNN newscaster refers to this as a "civil war" taking place in Syria in this interview with Congresswomen Tulsi Gabbard. That is incorrect, this is an international criminal conspiracy to first destroy Syria, vanquish its people, then divide Syria into areas that cannot be governed. Now that President Donald Trump has taken office, this does not indicate U.S. foreign policy (its military, think tanks, private mercenary companies and intelligence agencies both government and private) will change any regarding Syria.

THIS IS THE QUESTION ALL ARABS NEED TO ASK:

G sent:

"As complaints stream in about USA temporarily stopping refugees, how come very few are not asking why muslim countries are refusing them? www.thegatewaypundit.com/2017/01/daily-mail-near-end-2015-five-wealthiest-gulf-nations-far-refused-take-single-syrian-refugee/

Surely it would make more sense that they relocate to countries that are more culturally aligned? Yet they are refused. So why should the USA and Europe be morally obliged to accept them? G."

My response: I have asked this time and time again over the years. If Muslims were really behaving the way Muslims should, according to their religion, there should be no such thing as a Muslim refugee. A while ago (when Israel was bulldozing the border region between Egypt and Palestine,) I hunted for the answer as to why Egypt would not take the Palestinians in. I got a few responses from people in Palestine, who said they would leave if they could but no Arab states would take them.

Jordan? NOPE. Egypt? HELL NOPE. Syria, Iraq, Saud? NOPE. They are simply stuck there, in Palestine, dealing with aggression after aggression, and no one will take them. Granted, there are a few die hards who would stay no matter what, but many many Palestinians want to leave, and they cannot because the surrounding Arab states are A-holes.

How else can I say it? Seriously - WHY IN THE * should America and Europe be forced to take them? That says a LOT, line upon line upon line of fact can be written about these people from that one simple reality alone, and it is not just Palestine, this reality is echoed ALL OVER the Arab world. AS IF Egypt does not have the space!

The Ban on Syrian Refugees Coming to the United States

January 29, 2017

Syrian Arab Army

Banning Syrian citizens from entering the United States of American is ultimately a US internal matter, but there are few things that must be put in perspective; and what we say here addresses the Syrian reputation not the US decision.

Since the end of WWII and the end of the French Mandate over Syria in 1946, Syria never threatened the US national security nor the European national security. There was never a single Syrian terrorist in the world.

Even during the direct conflict between the Syrian Arab Army and the Multi-national forces in Lebanon led by the United States during the 1982-1985 Lebanon war, the Syrian command made sure that any direct Syrian-US conflict remains in the Middle East region. Furthermore, during the US invasion of Iraq, and afterwards, Syria stood by the Iraqi resistance, but only in Iraq and not by any chance outside it, therefore the Syrian command made sure the US intelligence is fully aware of any potential threat to the US national security, and that is not our saying, the US officials announced that many times over the years.

Ultimately, we can all agree that even in the worst times of relationship between Syria and the United States, the Syrian command made sure it never poses a threat to the US national security.

Today, Syrians are no longer allowed to enter the United States, as much as this is a US internal matter it offends us as Syrians, because Syrians are fleeing what the Obama administration did to their country. If you think there are too many Syrian refugees outside Syria then remember, in Damascus only there are more Syrians who left other conflict areas than there are Syrians in Europe; and personally being from Damascus, I must say that when it comes to this they are the owners of the city, and not considered refugees whatsoever but for the sake of the point. Same goes to the Syrian coastal cities and the list goes on.

So, what we have to clarify is that people in the world should never be threatened by the Syrians, yes there is a fraction who caused problems but only a small fraction, and even those are followers of the Wahabisim ideology that originated in Saudi Arabia, a country where for every 5 terrorists in the world, at least 4 are Saudis, yet they can still freely enter the United States.

Finally, Syrians are not fleeing the war as much as they are fleeing the economic sanctions forced on them by the US and the EU, [AD Note: Economic warfare] and to give you an idea of the impact of these sanctions on the Syrian people: 1$ US used to equal ~45 Syrian Pounds in 2011, while 1$ US reach 515 Syrian pounds in December, 2016.
