Install the L1C cross-certificate.
Generate a certificate signing request (CSR).
Install the SSL certificate.
These steps are described in the following procedures.
To install the CA root certificate
On the Cisco Router/ACE machine, open a command line.
Enter the following command to create a new trustpoint for Entrust:
crypto ca trustpoint entrust
Enter the following command:
crl optional
Enter the following command:
enrollment terminal
Enter the following command:
subject-name
Where is the distinguished name of your Cisco Router/ACE.
For example:
subject-name CN=hostname.yousite.com, OU=IT, O=Your company name, C=CA, ST=ON, L=City
Enter the following command:
crl configure
Enter the following command:
crypto ca authenticate entrust
Paste in the Entrust 2048 Root Certificate and accept the certificate.
