To set up an Entrust certificate on a Cisco Router/ACE, you must complete the following steps: 
Install the CA root certificate [UK MOD delegated to Canadian Governor General Johnston]

Install the L1C cross-certificate. Generate a certificate signing request (CSR). Install the SSL certificate. These steps are described in the following procedures.

To install the CA root certificate On the Cisco Router/ACE machine, open a command line. 
Enter the following command to create a new trustpoint for Entrust: crypto ca trustpoint entrust 
Enter the following command: crl optional 
Enter the following command: enrollment terminal 
Enter the following command: subject-name 
Where is the distinguished name of your Cisco Router/ACE. 

For example: 

subject-name CN=hostname.yousite.com, OU=IT, O=Your company name, C=CA, ST=ON, L=City 

Enter the following command: crl configure Enter the following command: crypto ca authenticate entrust Paste in the Entrust 2048 Root Certificate and accept the certificate.

Enter the following command to install the Web server certificate and paste the Web server certificate crypto ca import entrustl1c certificate
