Presidential Field Links Obama’s Bank To BAE Bribes and al-Qaeda Patent Pool

Presidential Field McConnell has linked Obama bankers at Northern Trust to a $400 million bribe paid to the Department of Justice by Allen & Overy on behalf of BAE; the principal supplier of al-Qaeda patent pool devices allegedly needed and used to knock out the Pentagon’s U.S. Navy Command Center on 9/11.

McConnell claims that beginning with the 1937 attack on Guernica, Allen & Overy and Northern Trust have been giving lawyers such as Barack and Michelle Obama, inside tips on the use of time-lapse patent-pool weapons to conceal client insurance frauds.

“Sweetheart mortgage loans to Senators are much in the news of late, with calls for increased scrutiny of the solons' dealings with their mortgage lenders. In this spirit, I took a look at some of the publicly available information on Senator and Mrs. Obama's mortgage, obtained in 2005 when they purchased their mansion in Chicago's upscale Hyde Park district. The Obamas purchased their home with the help of his friend Tony Rezko, recently convicted of a felony. His wife Rita purchased the adjoining lot, the former side yard of the mansion, to seal the deal. According to the mortgage documents [PDF File] which his campaign released, the Obamas obtained a $1.32 million mortgage from Northern Trust [The al-Qaeda property / patent pool custodian!]. The Politico recently asked Senators about their home mortgages in the wake of the revelations that Senators Chris Dodd (D-Conn) and Kent Conrad (D-ND) received special treatment from their lenders. In Obama's case, he stated that he did not receive any such favors.”

“The business climate began to change dramatically in the early years of the twentieth century, and Northern was forced to reassess some of its long-standing policies. Since its founding, the bank had only made collateral loans, but now aware that this policy stymied growth, the board of directors approved Northern's purchase of commercial paper in 1912. When the Federal Reserve System was created two years later, reducing the chance of the money panics that plagued the banking industry during the nineteenth century, Northern joined the system and began to provide unsecured lines of credit to its most reputable customers. Within a brief period of time, commercial banking become one of the most important sectors of Northern's business. A new era was on the horizon when Byron L. Smith died in March 1914 and his son, Solomon A. Smith, took over the reins of the bank. World War I started in August 1914, and stock and bond prices dropped markedly, even though the dollar gained in value against European currencies. When the United States finally entered the war in 1917, Northern acted as a depository for the Alien Property Custodian Act and held over $500 million in enemy assets [which it allegedly pooled with Allen & Overy’s help and BAE predecessor patents for the 1937 attack on Guernica]. During and immediately after the war, Northern sold nearly $30 million in war bonds for the Liberty Bond and Victory Bond campaigns.”

“Allen & Overy has led the global defence of BAE Systems throughout the company's various corruption investigations around the world. BAE Systems has been under investigation by the Serious Fraud Office, into the use of political corruption to help sell arms to Chile, Czech Republic, Romania, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Tanzania and Qatar. In response, BAE Systems' 2006 Corporate Responsibility Report states "We continue to reject these allegations...We take our obligations under the law extremely seriously and will continue to comply with all legal requirements around the world. In June 2007 Lord Woolf was selected to lead what the BBC described as an "independent review.... [an] ethics committee to look into how the defence giant conducts its arms deals." The report, Ethical business conduct in BAE Systems plc – the way forward, made 23 recommendations, measures which BAE has committed to implement. The finding stated that "in the past BAE did not pay sufficient attention to ethical standards in the way it conducted business," and was described by the BBC as "an embarrassing admission." In September 2009, the Serious Fraud Office announced that it intended to prosecute BAE Systems for offences relating to overseas corruption. The Guardian claimed that a penalty "possibly of more than £500m" might be an acceptable settlement package. On 5 February 2010, BAE Systems agreed to pay £257m criminal fines to the US and £30m to the UK. The UK already massively benefited from £43 billion contract in tax receipts and jobs in the UK, and had dropped an anti-corruption investigation into the Al Yamamah contracts [wherein the al-Qaeda patent pool was assembled and tested prior to 9/11] later taken up by US authorities. Crucially, under a plea bargain with the US Department of Justice BAE was sentenced in March 2010 by U.S. District Court Judge John D. Bates to pay a $400 million fine, one of the largest fines in the history of the DOJ [collected by Field McConnell’s sister, Kristine Marcy, the de facto custodian of the DOJ’s Asset Forefeiture Fund]. U.S. District Judge John Bates said the company's conduct involved "deception, duplicity and knowing violations of law, I think it's fair to say, on an enormous scale". BAE did not directly admit to bribery, and is thus not internationally blacklisted from future contracts. Some of the £30m penalty BAE will pay in fines to the UK will be paid ex gratia for the benefit of the people of Tanzania. On 2 March 2010, Campaign Against Arms Trade and The Corner House were successful in gaining a High Court injunction on the Serious Fraud Office's settlement with BAE. The High Court may order a full review of the settlement.”

“The bombing of Guernica (April 26, 1937) was an aerial attack on the Basque town of Guernica, Spain, causing widespread destruction and civilian deaths, during the Spanish Civil War. The raid by planes of the German Luftwaffe "Condor Legion" and the Italian Fascist Aviazione Legionaria was called Operation Rügen. .. The first English-language media reports of the destruction in Guernica appeared two days later. George Steer, a reporter for The Times, who was covering the Spanish Civil War from inside the country, authored the first full account of events. Steer's reporting set the tone for much of the subsequent reportage. Steer pointed out the clear German complicity in the action. The evidence of three small bomb cases stamped with the German Imperial Eagle made clear that the official German position of neutrality in the Civil War and the signing of a Non-Intervention Pact was a sham. Steer's report was syndicated to the New York Times and then worldwide, generating widespread shock, outrage, and fear. There was coverage in other national and international editions also: The Times ran the story every day for over a week after the attack. The New York Post ran a cartoon showing Hitler brandishing a bloody sword labelled "air raids" as he towered over heaps of civilian dead littering "the Holy City of Guernica". The US Congressional Record referred to poison gas having been dropped on Guernica. This did not actually occur. During debates in the British Parliament Guernica was also inaccurately described as an "open city" which contained no military targets. Overall, the impression generated was one which fed the widely held public fear of air attack which had been building throughout the 1930s, a fear which accurately anticipated that in the next war the aerial forces of warring nations would be able to wipe whole cities off the map.”

The commercial sexual exploitation of children on the internet is a growing problem. A huge number of different contract, privacy, data protection and banking secrecy laws across Europe make it very difficult for internet and credit card companies to identify the criminals behind this activity and report them to the authorities. But an international team of Allen & Overy lawyers – working with White & Case in Moscow – have completed a year of research across 11 European countries for the charity, Missing Children Europe, to find ways to prevent legal loopholes obstructing the prosecution of persons selling child pornography on the internet. The research highlights legal [?] techniques that allow banks [such as Mitt Romney's Bank of America and Obama's Northern Trust] and credit card companies to block payments to websites, trace payments back to the people running them and share evidence about the perpetrators so that they can be reported and arrested [or extorted in re Twin Towers insurance fraud or destruction of Pentagon's U.S. Navy Command Center]. Our research for Missing Children Europe – an umbrella for 23 European child protection organisations – has contributed to the launch of the European Financial Coalition, chaired by the UK’s Child Exploitation and Online Protection Centre and supported by the European Commission. The Coalition brings together finance companies, internet service providers, charities, law enforcement agencies and leading NGOs, as well as Allen & Overy as an ongoing advisory member. Building on this success in Europe, we have begun similar research in Asia, in partnership with the International Centre for Missing and Exploited Children and Standard Chartered Bank [whose arsonists allegedly fire-bombed SEC offices in WTC#7]. The objective is to create a similar financial coalition in Asia, based on the European model.”
